Hummmm... Insporation, hummmm......  Here where i get mine.  When i see
something and i say, " man, would it be cool if (example: Ryoga killed
Ranma, and Akane thought it was her fault!) happend."  From there i work out
a plot, or just a rough idea, then i write a chapter or two, post it, then
see what people think.  My fanfic has gone far away from what I wanted to
happen, but thats cool, it's a better story now.  Just lock your self in a
dark room with all the Ranma tapes (or any other thing you mite want to
write about) you can find, watch them, and when you say, "I wish X would
happen," or, "wouldn't it be cool if .."  Theres your idea!!!!

Hi All,

 Hmmm... I hope this doesn't count as noise...

 Aside from the original animatiopn/manga/story as a basic structure for
 the fanfics created, are there any othe sources of inspiration for the
 fanfic writers?  Anyone care to share their feelings?

 Or are all of the fanfic writers simply talented and this question just
 noise waiting to get deleted? *nervous*

 I'm asking because I'm interested in fanfics, but I don't know quite
 how to go about starting one... lack of imagination I guess...

 Oh well, any tips, experiences, or comments welcomed.  

 Hope this isn't considered noise on this ML.
