Since Dode has bin kicked from th ML, I ( Sage ) am posting this for him.
Please give it a try, it's not bad.  Just because Dodekain is a bad tempered
person, does not mean you should take revenge on him, lead by example!!
Like I said, it's a cool story, if you like Mortal Kombat & Ranma.  And i
KNOW you like Ranma :)

                              Ranma's Mortal Journey


                                        1


	The place is called Outworld, for ten thoundands generations it's been
under the rule of the evil emperor known as Sho Kon.  This world grows weary
and Sho Kon wishes to control another world.  For one hundred generations,
he has been trying to gain control over a world know as Earth.  This has
been a diffuiclt task for the emperor. He knows that his warriors must win
ten mortal kombats in a row.  Sho Kon has been unsuccessful thus far. He has
won nine mortal kombats several times but each tenth try Earth's champion
has won, thus stopping his evil plans. Once again his dark forces have
amassed nine strait victories in the tournament. Now on the eve of the tenth
victory, he worries whether or not his champion can truly win.

	Lightning crackles outside the temple of the evil emperor.  A lone figure
stands in the middle of a chamber waiting paichently for his master to
arrive.  The man's name is Sang Sung, he is a master of martial arts as well
as black sorcery.  Lightning streaks through the sky but Sang Sung pays no
attention to it.  He ponders what his master has summoned him for.
Suddenly, a shadow shifts on the throne chair.  "Yes, my master" says Sang
sung as he bows deeply.  For several minutes there is no reply.  Then Sho
Kon speaks, "Sang, I want you and five other warriors to go and kill the
three champions of Earth".  "But my master, It is against the rules of the
kombat,"
replies the sorceror.  "I do not care for rules Sang," Sho Kon spits back.
"But..but, What of Lord Rayden," Sang answers back.  Sho Kon laughs, "Lord
Rayden is nothing but an old weak fool."  "I see master," Sang weirly
replies.  "Enough of this," shouts Sho Kon, "Go, do as you are told". Sang
hesitates for a moment and then bows before his master.  "As you wish," he
replies.  He turns to leave and notices a black crow perched upon the window
ledge.  He stops, but shakes off the eerie feeling and continues for the
doorway.  As he approaches the door, a dark figure enters. It is a female.
Her name is Melinna and she is the daughter of Sho Kon.  She passes by him
without even a glance.  "You summoned me, my father."  As Sang Sung closes
the door, he notices the crow take flight off to who knows where.

	Hollywood California is the place of dreams and movie stars.  Johnny Cage
has such a dream, altho he *has* been living his dream.  Johnny has been a
movie star for the past five years, but he has been criticized that his
movies are fake.  Johnny, being a accomplished martial artist that he is,
strides to put realizism in his movies, but still he is criticized for being
a fake.  All this has taken a toll on Johnny's spirit.

	Johnny walks into the private gym at the studio, he wonders about what he
will do to silence the critics.  His head raddles with the question, "what
will I do to prove that I'm for real?" Johnny shrugs his shoulders and says,
"Oh well".  He sets down his gym equipment and beings his workout routine.
"Stupid critics, who do they think they are," Johnny thinks to himself.  He
unleashes a fury of blows into a punching bag.  All of a sudden, the lights
go out.  "What the," Johnny wonders.

	Her name is Sonya and she is a military expert.  She has lost many friends
in battle, but none more dearly then her own partner.  "Sonya...Sonya,"
shouts Jax.  "Huh, what" she replies. "The mission, remember?" Jax snaps
back.  "Oh yea, sorry, just daydreaming," she says under her breath.  She
still wonders about the strange guy she met yesterday that brought her here.
He told her about some tournament that she needed to enter and where to find
Kano.  Kano is the man that killed her partner and she wants vengeance.
"Kano, you die today" she mutters under her breath.  "Jax, Is everything
secure," Sonya says, to her trusted friend, "I don't want Kano slipping away
this time".  Jax replies, "Yes sir, everything is in order."  "Good," she
spits back.  "On
the count of three, we rush the place, OK" she quietly says.  "I'm right
behind you," Jax assures her.  They ready themselves for the assault on
Kano's hideout.  "OK, ready," Sonya quietly says, "Get set, GO".  She dashes
off for the doorway.  Jax, although agile as he is, never has a chance to
avoid the blade of Baraka's weapon which slice through is neck.  Sonya
bursts through the doorway as Jax's lifeless body slumps to the ground.

	It is night and lightning streaks through the skies above the Shoulin
monastery, which is the home of Liu Kang.  He sits outside and mediates
about his meeting with Lord Rayden. Something breaks his concretion, he
hears laughing.  He opens his eyes and sees a man in a yellow gi with black
pants standing before him.  Liu Kang also notices a green robed ninja
kneeling to the side of the stranger.  Liu stands up and says, "You are
violating the rules of the tournament."  The stranger replies, "My master
cares not for rules, only to win and you will not stop him".  "Lord Rayden
will not stand for this," Liu shouts.  The evil sorcerer laughs loudly.
"Lord Rayden will never know," sneers the stranger.  "You will die here and
now," snaps the sorcerer.
Lightning arcs through the sky.  "Lord Rayden will," Liu Kang begins.  He is
interrupted by the green ninja's, known only as Reptile, leaping attack..
