I have a program you might want.  It outputs a new mail message to 
cerror, not cout.  Prevents this kind of stuff.

I'd like to thank the ML for existing, because if I handed this kind of
stuff in to my teachers, I'd probably get a bad grade and a call home.

Either that or a visit to a padded cell...
