Okay, that was pretty funny.

Later on, the notion of an SI character doing a diary seems pretty solid,
but I can't remember any SI stories that really pull that off. The Crys
Saga sort of managed it, though I don't recall a literal diary, just
diary-like scenes.

Now that we're on the subject, I had an idea inspired by this "challenge"
that I'm trying not to write. Yes, trying _NOT_ write, as I already have
far too many things to do at the moment. Maybe next week I'll throw
something at the list. So, anyway, the hook is that the entire story
(without exception) is diary entries from one of the characters--but not
the SI character. Yeah. Plus there's a few plot twists thrown in. I'm
thinking about.
