The Fan Fiction Panel at this year's Anime Central is currently 
scheduled for Saturday, May 6 from 12:30-2:00pm (check your schedule 
at the con - events are sometimes rescheduled). This year's panelists 
(including two who have come from Canada specifically for this convention) are:

* Paul Corrigan, who made his mark on the fanfic world with the 
satirical Utena fic 'Sovereignty-Associationist Girl Nanami'.
* Jeanne Hedge, writer of the SI/AA spoof 'We Just Want to Help You', 
and moderator of rec.arts.anime.creative.
* Gary Kleppe, author of the Ranma fanfic series 'Hearts and Minds', 
and senior moderator of the Fanfiction Mailing List.
* Pearson "Doc" Mui, recently retired from the Undocumented Features 
multi-verse, and writer of the 'Anime Detective' series.
* Bert Van Vliet, the creator and author of 'The Bubblegum Zone' 
series, set in the BGC (classic) universe.

FANFIC WRITER'S GATHERING:
The annual traditional Friday night FanFic Writer's Gathering (all 
fanfic writers and the people they're at the con with are invited) 
will take place again this year. Meet in the lobby of the 
Hyatt-O'Hare (to the left of the doors) at 6pm for directions.
