Almost nine inches in length and three inches in
width, the trademark weapon of a Jedi was old and

Unless the being who made that lightsaber
had huge hands and wielded it single handedly,
those dimensions are way off. Human lightsabers
are nearly always around 12 to 14 inches long
and no more than 2 inches thick. 3 inches is
way too thick to hold with any real grip, and
nine inches is way too short to hold with two
hands.

An inch and a half, to maybe an inch and three quarters in diameter; and
around 10-12 inches long for the four original lightsabers. Two inches is
like a beer can, and three is like a soup tin.

As for the story as a whole, it looks pretty good and I'd the second
chapter, at least. One thing - turn off smart quotes? This time around, they
turned into some fairly weird stuff...
