Xander's New Attitude

Prologue


    Five year-old Xander was having a bad day as a bunch of bullies picked
on him and his friends, Willow and Jessie. The bullies were older by a few
years and stronger and bigger and had taken their money, lunches, and
backpacks. The bullies looked down at the three and laughed. Xander got
angry and stood up and in front of his two friends and told the bullies to
give them their stuff back. The bullies laughed and picked on him. He stood
his ground. The bullies hit him. He got back to a standing position and gave
them a cocky grin then made a come-here motion with his right hand too and
then said, "Come get some." and then held his hands out as fists. Xander was
beaten into ground for his trouble, but never backed down.

    Now in the normal timeline this would have just caused his friends to
have greater respect for him and become his two best buds. That still
happened in this timeline, but so did something else.

    In the bushes beside the road a man watched what was happening. He
looked at Xander and said to himself "Wow! I cannot believe the size of
this kid's aura! With training he could be one of the best Martial Artists
ever born!"

    Xander was being picked off the ground by his friends when a strange man
approached them, out of the bushes.

    "Hiya kiddies." said the man.

    They backed up and seeing this the man said "Relax. I'm not here to
hurt you. In fact I've got a deal for you."

    The kids listened to the man as he told them about how he was a Martial
Artist and would like to teach Xander. Xander asked if his friends could
learn too and the man said sure. So then Xander and friends became the man's
students.

    The man smiled as it all worked out. 'Now to train him and them.' he
thought. 'Hmmm... Ahhh, where am I going to find a bathhouse around here?' 
thought Happosai Grand Master of  the Anything-Goes School style of Martial 
Arts.
