Unless, of course, the "threats" have infiltrated or openly taken
over the government, and are using its forces to secure their
position. But even exposing that might be interesting.
The tactic could also potentially backfire, in that case - it could look
like a case of "They're opposing us! They're EVIL!" kneejerk attack,
analogous to what various political and governmental bad guys have done
numerous times in the past, and thus make the Magical Girls look even
*more* like the Wrong Side.
