Okay, by now you're possibly wondering what the fuck that was.

Murphy's law, as applied to the social circumstances of the Sailormoon
gang...right? It was very gritty, that's for sure - Mina and Makoto's
circumstances made the most sense I've seen in an SM fanfic in more or
less forever, and the Usagi/Mamoru situation was a nice twist. Ami was a
bit of a surprise, though...

About the moon cats - I know the two of them have human forms, which are
shown at least once in the manga and perhaps in the anime as well - I
have neither seen the whole series nor read any of the manga first hand,
so I don't know for sure. But are the panther shapes ever mentioned or
shown in the source material?

I've been watching a whole lot of new anime lately, as well as the
live-action Sailormoon. Some of the concepts from the very quirky and
campy
Sailormoon dorama stuck out as appealing to me, and one morning, I was
thinking about some of the anime I've seen lately, and that dorama,

and

playing one of the old SFAM Sailormoon puzzle games, and I got a wild

head

up my ass: what would Sailormoon be like if it had been written/made

today

and not ten years ago?

It could go either way, I think - considering the silliness level of
some of the stuff I've seen that's supposed to cater to the same
original age group, I'm leaning more towards that end myself... 

(not to mention the graphical styling the story could have wound up with
- despite Hayashibara-san's name being plastered all over it, and the
similarity, setup-wise, to Ranma �, I have yet to force myself through a
whole episode of "Tenshi na Konamaiki" (Cheeky Angel), on account of it
being so crudely animated...)

So, heavily influenced by _Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito_,
_Shingetsutan
Tsukihime_, the memories of some of CLAMP's less fluffy works, the

memory

of
a very old and very abandoned fanfic that attempted to create an Anno
Hideaki-directed version of Sailormoon, and the new dorama...

What is Anno doing these days, anyway? Has there been anything at all
since Evangelion, and I've been too thick to notice?

Ya know, I didn't really see anything noteworthy with regards to
spelling or grammar errors - as usual. Too busy enjoying the fic to
notice them...

And, incidentally, I don't own Sailormoon. If I did, the dorama would
probably never have been made in the first place--or at least, it

wouldn't

have a goddamn plush toy playing the part of Luna. c.c;;

Someday, I'd like to see what Sunrise could do with the amount of
resources being spent on the dorama... (Witness the Inuyasha anime
adaptation....)
