Other than your habitual failure to make use of quotation marks,

either single or double, it looks okay.  But then, maybe in the face
of that, I simply didn't notice other problems.

The problem is on your end.  No idea what's causing it, but I've never
seen any of his stories lacking quotation marks or apostrophes.  The
characters are also quite normal where they appear, as well.

That's odd.  Usually, quotations marks either appear normally, or, in the case of non-standard characters, may appear funny.  In the latter case, I can, if the fic in question is worth the effort, drop it into a text editor and do a global search and replace.  This fic would definitely be worth the effort, but, since said characters are not appearing at all, I don't exactly have that option.

So that I may possibly determine the source of the problem and, hopefully, a solution, could anyone else who may have noticed this problem email me PRIVATELY with software details (OS, email client and/or web browser, etc.).  Also, if the author could please do the same, listing all software used to write and send the fic from OS on down?

For the record, I'm using a web-based email service through Mozilla 1.3.1 running on RedHat Linux.
