Sorry it's taken me so long to get to this. I haven't been feeling my best
lately.

I searched for and found the first two chapters of this story on-line, and
read them, and then this one, and now I'm hooked!
This is a gratifying thing to hear. I'm glad you are enjoying it.
This seems like a promising idea. I'm very intrigued by your notions of
Kasumi and >
Tofu, two characters that aren't used that often in favor of flashier
personalities. The
Waking World vs. this shared dream of theirs is really a good idea.
Thanks again. I wish I could claim credit for coming up with the Dreamlands,
but I borrowed heavily from Lovecraft (and Jack Vance) for this story.
The only thing I'd ask of you (and you may already have this planned) is
that you
explore Tofu's and Kasumi's reactions to each other when they next meet in
the Waking World, as well as the observations and reactions of those who
know them. Do they know that they share an existence in the dream world?
How would they ascertain this fact without looking like a fool in case they
were wrong? (Perhaps the repetition of a short conversation they had while
asleep would provide proof enough.)
I'll be dealing with this as I go along with the story. I'm not sure
if Tofu and Kasumi are aware that the Dreamlands is truly its own separate
reality. As they mentioned in chapter 3, they both have met people who have
claimed to be Dreamers, but I think perhaps that they may dismiss these
claims as curious figments of their subconscious imagination.
A fan,
It's nice to have a fan. Thank you for taking the time to write. It's
appreciated. For all the response I've gotten on this piece I might as well
have printed it out, crumpled it up and tossed it down a well...
