That's all I have to say about the story.  On another note, variations of

have been done before.  One of them had Ranma showing up ten or so years

was supposed to challenge the Tendou Dojo, and so trained for all that

make sure he would be strong enough to win.  Was that the previous version

this story, written by you?

No, the previous version is a citrus interruptus - the major difference is
that Ranma does not alienate Akane within the first five seconds, and the
published part ends with Akane breathily asking Ranma to make her a woman...

Didn't the one you're thinking of show up here fairly recently? I lost my
archive a few weeks ago, so I can't check. Anyway, I think I like _this_
take better than the other.

Totally unrelated question: In the Ranma alterverse department, has anyone
really experimented with various and sundry characters' relative ages?

---> Ryoga, the lost boy, following a mildly irritated Ranma around and
calling him 'sempai' (Extra points if he's totally starstruck :-))...

---> Ranma being 18 rather than 16 when he shows at the dojo, and absolutely
detesting the brattish Akane...

---> "Ranma" being several years younger (Arun, and Carrot, IIRC, have both
done this)

---> The Kuno siblings having their ages reversed


If not, you should look into it, because the

similarities are rather large.  I checked yahoo and google (string '"for

honor

and love" ranma') and found only your page(which doesn't show a previous
version).  I also checked Rakhal's and the TASS archive.  If the story I'm
thinking of has the same name, then for some reason it's in none of those
places.  I do hope it was you who wrote it, considering the extreme
resemblance.

I _think_ that thing is listed on the Index, but finding _any_ specific
non-crossover shortfic there is a major chore if you don't know the title...
(And "Ranma challenge Akane" is one of those impossible search strings...)
