Thanks for the kind words about my stories. ^_O

well, I've read about a lot of 'hopless' situations,and people seem to
pull _together_ under those situations. (WWI, WWII are good examples, especially the Jews inthe ghettos. Even in the face of certain death, or enduring the greatest evil the Nazis could devise - - they hung together. Of course, the common culture and belief in God might have made the
difference. But there are other examples through out history.


Happy endings:
Love is a Battlefield, happy ending (Ukyou gets chased by a cute
Amazon, but we can't have everything)

Bloodfist, happy ending

Yellow Dragon, Black Tiger: happy ending (well, except for the bad guy)

Cat's Have no Tears: well, i need to write he sequel, but Akane's out of the cage & she saved Kasumi.

Bedlam fire: Unfinished, but NOT a WAFFY story.

Honeymoon Heart Attack: silly ending

Hibiki Ryouga, Agent of P.I.G: Ok, that one was a little grim.

Akane in the Underworld (alt ending to "The Moon by Lovelight): Happy, though Akane did lose an eye, she brought Ranma back from the dead.

Justice 2: The True Horror:(sequel to Gary Kleppe's short story):Happy, even if Ranma does shamelessly spoil Ukyou.

I'm a Guy: Happy, if I can ever finish it

With Friends like these . . .: Happy, though I really need to send the rest to D-chan for posting. It needs revision, but a HD crash on my old computer took my notes, so I'll have to be satisfied with
the rough draft.

Tyger, Tyger: Unfinished. one chapter & epilogue to go. I just need to segue the King of Rome, and i'll be able to get that done. it's pretty happy, though there's a high body count.

Furies: HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY!!!, OK, Akane and Queen Serenity have to reincarnate.

OTOH, that implies that EVERYONE who died can come back. AND, as a bonus, Kasumi gets to be the new Guardian of Time and Nabiki's mother (well, Kasumi and Akane AND Nabiki's) comes back, due to fiddling with the Gate of Time. ^_*


HAPPY, you want HAPPY!!!
OK, I've got a Ranma/SM/Parent-trap (sort of) fusion
where Ami and Akane are twin sisters separated at birth,
who run into each other no a school field trip and switch places
so Akane can meet the mother she thought was dead and Ami
can see her father. How much WAFFYer can you get?

I've got an Akane/Ukyou story where Ukyou needs a fianc‚
to be eligible for an inheritance from an eccentric Aunt, and Ranma
is off on a training trip. That's so sweet it's toxic!

How about the one where Genma accidentally (he's drunk) takes
the wrong baby on the ten year training trip, and years later
a demon cursed Akane makes her way home to find her mother
is dead and Souun has remarried Nodoka (after Genma is declared
legally dead) . . .OK, so that one's not ENTIRELY happy . . .

Then there's the one where Souun, afraid Genma is going to surpass
the Tendou school, takes Akane for special training, not realizing that
half of Akane's soul is going to be sent to hell to train fighting demons,
leaving the Akane we know with only half a soul . . .well, maybe that's not a
good example of an completely happy story. 

OH wait, "The Long Way Home (one chapter done) Akane saves
Shan Pu's life and as a reward Ke Lun takes Akane back to China
for training. Whereupon Akane ends up becoming more Amazon
than the Amazon's (finally finding her spiritual home)Now THAT's 
WAFF! (other than assorted Chinese Communist officials who end
up seriously dead) Especially when Shan Pu introduces Akane
to some quaint Amazon customs. There are some sad parts.

Kasumi becomes an Ambassador of Good Will for the Amazons
and is forced to travel the world, meeting
heads of state, staying in palaces <sigh> she never again gets
to scrub floors or hang out the wash. 

Nabiki ends up as a pampered, indulged plaything of an fabulously
wealthy Amazon elder. Week after week, cruel circumstance
forces Nabiki to travel to London, Paris, Hong Kong and New York,
trying to find ways to spend the obscene amounts of money
this evil (but beautiful and well preserved 40 something) woman
forces upon her. After an exhausting day running naked
along Rodeo Drive (naked except for a Platinum American Express)
it's all poor Nabiki can do crawl into her penthouse apartment
and fall exhausted into her whirl-pool tub, before being
dragged off to yet another Hollywood party.  

And poor Ukyou spends the rest of her life
forced to make love to Ranma (to produce more little Amazons) and
cook okonomoyaki for Amazon's who've never tasted anything like
it before and think she's a genius. <sob> Poor, poor Ukyou. Won't 
someone rescue her from this life of degradation and shame?

UKYOU: "Try it, and I'll scramble you like an egg!"

But, other than those unhappy people, Akane and Shan Pu
do pretty well. 
(Well, Kuno and Ryouga end up being put out to stud for
all Amazon's of Child bearing years, but they're minor 
characters)
