That was me! :) Though there are still a few points you have yet to
address, though they needn't be done in this sidestory -- Kasumi doesn't
seem to have her grimorie in the waking world, so she can only case any
spell once (or some small number of times, depending on how your rules
of magic work). If she is going to make a habit of using magic in the
waking world, she either needs make a copy of her grimorie here, or else
take regular naps so she can go memorize spells in the dreamlands.
Taking naps is awkward, of course, and writing a copy of her grimorie
means risking it being stolen or copied...
Kasumi will have to be satisfied with the spells she carries over in her
sleep. Naps and a waking world grimoire are both impractical for her.
Besides, this story never happened in the main Kasumi the Wayfarer
continuity. As I said, it is an 'imaginary story', to borrow DC's rather
inane term for comics they printed yet didn't want to much up their main
titles. In the main Kasumi the Wayfarer storyline she can't cast spells in
the waking world; their logic does not apply. Of course its quite possible
she could beat the hell out of you with a shinnai or bokken, or maybe even
her bare hands...
Anyhow, I hope you enjoyed the story.
Thanks for your time and tolerance,
