He glimpsed over at the Manor again, and this time a lack of
motionlessness was present. Chloe was exiting the building.
Odd way of phrasing that.
Yeah. Did it work okay, though? I liked it. ^_^;
The "lack" and "-less-" in "lack of motionlessness" are both negative
modifiers for "motion-". Tack a double-negative on top of the inherent
convolution of a passive sentence and you end up with quite a tangle to
wrap your eyeball around.
? 'He glimpsed over' isn't passive. Or did you mean the second sentance? I
did get a priv reply saying that the sentence did read okay, so I'll leave
this unless I get more responses saying the opposite.

Fun vitamin-deficiency diseases you could give young Ranma:

Have to wonder how long it'll take before he becomes anemic and his body
starts canniblizing itself for protein...
Well, he did get some bread in that sandwich, plus whatever else it was made
of. But yeah, he'd start accumulating problems before too long. But I don't
think it'd be an issue this quickly.
Makes me think of One Piece, where some characters have a major case of
scurvy, eat a couple of oranges, and are instantly better. ^_^;
