I've seen the in joke used for Kasumi/Belledandy before too.

Well, that works because the two characters are so alike...  now, if you
tried to match either of those up against the character Kikuko Inoue did
for "Miyuki-chan in Wonderland", you'd have a much harder time of it;
when she's not doing Kasumi-types, she does Kodachi-types...
