Which of course begs the question . . .how? Since one
of the "tests" of a witch is that they float. ^_*

Still, an interesting premise with a lot of potential.

One sub-plot would be training, since from both the
books and anime it seems that a witch needs training
to fly, make medicine, tell fortunes, etc.  I have
visions of Genma attempting to train a young witch. Is
there a neko-ken equivilent in magic?

RANMA-witch: "Hey pop, whatcha pilin' that brush

 Ranma has a lot of confidence as a martial artist,
and confidence seems important in witchcraft in the
Kiki universe. BUT, does this carry over into his
female form?  Does any of the drowned girl's
personality/memory carry over? (what happens when a
magical-girl drowns in a magical pool?) Is the
original still alive? (Akane has her own pool and
she's not dead. ^_O)

Is Ranma still a powerful martial artist as a witch?
IMO it would be a better story if "she" were NOT a
martial artist. (adds a level of dramatic tension)
