Hey, I didn't realize their economy was suffering that badly.  I only said
what I heard recently.  No need to come down on me for being uninformed.

As for the fic, if I could write it myself, I wouldn't have asked if anyone
else could, now would I.  Obviously, since I seem to be SO ignorant of the
situation over there, I can't possibly know enough to write a good fic.

No... Japan's economy has been in a recession for 10 years.  The technical
definition of a recession requires two quarters of economic contraction...
negative growth, but in reality that's stupid.  If the economy is barely
making 1%, then makes like -0.8% and then goes back up to 0.5%...on and on
for 10 years... I'd call that a 10 year recession.

Not picking on you specifically, but like I said... it's a 10 year think
now... kinda old news.
