Directly to the point, how is this in any way, shape or form
Sailor Moon save two names? You never describe Usagi, we never
learn anything about her but she's been dreaming of Emdymion,
who's dead. There is no reason for her to be the Tsukino Usagi
other than the names. You should have titled it original.

The story WAS actually quite different when I began it, and much more
in tune with the Sailor Moon characters (it was supposed to be
Demando). Along the way, it evolved (or degenerated, whichever) into a
this odd little narrative.

I suppose I remembered too much of the 'original story' that it was
and I inferred from the (apparently non-existent) references I left in
that it was still essentially in the Sailor Moon continuity.

It was one of those 'author is blind to a major flaw' things.

Bleh. Drat.

I loved the irony in the madly. I had nice, happy cheerful
connotations going and was amused by the switch.

The descending description of his madness was well done, and I
have nothing but compliments for the prose. Generally a great
short story.
