Ooooo- a defender? Now I feel happy. Very, very happy :)

I don't understand why you people don't think it was fanfiction.
Lots of fics have been done thus and shall be continued to be
done thus. It's the mystery value I think.

That's what I thought too. But, in my (currently being revised)
opinion, the story was too far-removed from the 'mystery-value'
aspect. Rather than the half-cloaked identities being the main focus,
it was instead pushed to the side in favor of a surprise ending. Had I
simply ended the plot at the part where Usagi and Seiya find out their
'true' identities and expanded more on their characters, while leaving
it open for a 'happy' ending, then I would have insisted much more
that it was a Sailor Moon fanfic.

With the latter half of the fic just being a description of madness on
Seiya's part without any references to Sailor Moon (and the fact that
is highly unlikely for his character), I am forced to admit that, yes,
too much of the story can be replaced with anonymous names.

The whole point of the fanfic was that Mamoru had died before
Usagi even met him, and she still had her feelings for him
because of their previous incarnation. If it hadn't been Usagi
and Mamoru, it wouldn't be an SM fic, it's true, but it being an
SM fic made more sense into the story. If it were Jane who had
fallen in love with Bob, it still would have been good, but one
would have to wonder why this chick was so obsessive with this
corpse. ^_^ Added the SM part, it makes perfect sense, imo.

Hmmm... good point. I don't have an arguement against that at all,
although, since I'm the author, I'm not exactly looking for flaws in
the praise heaped on me. But... good point.

The guy she bought flowers fell in love with her, too, and became
obsessed... And well, you'd have to read the kick ass ending ^_^
Although the author could have just done it as a semi-normal SM
alt fic, they decided to add the flower boy, for I think more of
the mystery value, and some shock value at the end there. ^_^

Heh. Thanks. The ending was a little weaker than I imagined it, but I
liked it anyway.

Anyway, I personally think it was a wonderful fic, and yes it
was an SM alt fic.
