Ranma �/Dragonball Z - The Power of Change, Chapter 6

A New Chapter Begins

Ranma wakes up in the booth with Ukyou on his shoulder. They had stayed up
all night together talking and eventually fell asleep together. It felt good
to have a real friend again. His thoughts stray back and forth from Ukyou to
Akane and to of all people Kasumi, who he has realized over the last two
days he misses a great deal. Ranma hops up and gently lays Ukyou's head on
the seat before leaving. He decides to do some morning katas and then go for
a walk.

After about an hour of warming up and going through the katas he knows by
heart, Ranma takes off on a walk through town. As he's walking along the top
of a fence, he spots a familiar figure carrying her groceries. "Hey Kasumi!
Need some help there?" he yells to her. "Oh my. Hi Ranma-kun. Eh� " Kasumi,
embarrassed, hides behind her shopping bags so as not to show off the bright
red tint her face has taken. "Th�that's alright Ranma. I wouldn't want to
inconvenience you." "Uh, Kasumi, I offered didn't I? Besides, I've missed
you the past few days."


"Y�you have? Thank you Ranma. Here." Says Kasumi as she hands him the bags.
"I'm just on my way home. I needed some things for this morning's breakfast.
Why don't you stay and eat with us this morning." "Uh� Kasumi� Your dad and
Nabiki wouldn't like that much�" Ranma sighs. "Oh my� You have a point�
Perhaps another time then? Please Ranma?" "Uh� Er� O�okay Kasumi. I can't
say no to you." "Good. We're here Ranma. Don't tell me you've forgotten the
house already!" Kasumi teases Ranma. "Well� Er� No. I just� I was paying
attention to other things. Sorry." Stutters Ranma. "It's okay Ranma-kun.
Come visit soon" says Kasumi as she takes the groceries back from Ranma.
"And thank you again Ranma." She finishes and surprises them both by softly
kissing Ranma on the cheek. "Uh� Y...you're welcome K�Kasumi� Anytime�"
Ranma slowly says. 'Oh my� Whatever brought that on' thinks Kasumi as she
turns to hide her blush. "See you later Ranma." She says as she enters the
house.

"You're late Kasumi. How unlike you. And who was that you were talking to?"
asks Nabiki as Kasumi closes the door. "Oh my. I was out getting groceries."
Stumbles Kasumi. "Oh?? And why is it that the groceries are making you blush
Kasumi-dear??" drills Nabiki. "I'm sorry Nabiki-chan, but I must go cook."
Kasumi says and walks away with a smile. "What was that smile about. And
since when does Kasumi call me 'Nabiki-chan'? This requires some looking
into�" says Nabiki as she goes to the window and sees the retreating figure
of Ranma. "Hmm� Couldn't be� Could it??" Nabiki says to herself.

Kasumi happily hums a tune as she cooks, and a confused and red-faced Ranma
walks down the street rubbing his cheek, not even noticing the fact that
he's floating 3 feet in the air. Nabiki sits looking out the window with a
puzzled look on her face, and Ukyou is still having happy dreams at her
store.

'Oh man� Things are getting even MORE confusing now that Akane is gone�'
thinks Ranma. 'I'm betting I'd be in Okinawa now if Akane had seen that.'

Meanwhile somewhere in China. "RANMA!!!! THIS IS YOUR FAULT!! BECAUSE OF YOU
I'VE SEEN HELL ONCE MORE AND NOW I DON'T EVEN HAVE AKANE TO TURN TO!!!!
RANMA!!!!!!! YOU WILL DIE FOR THIS!!" shouts Ryouga as he powers up and
flies� in the opposite direction of Japan.

Kurillin touches down in front of the Jusenkyo guides hut and knocks on the
door. "Oh, hello good customer. You here see cursed springs? They no here no
more. Stupid lost boy fall in second spring and then blow them up. Never
seen him so powerful before. But makes no more tragedy for poor sirs who
fall in. No can show you springs now." Says the guide. "Uh� Look� I just
need to find the Juketsuzoku tribe. I was wondering if you could tell me
where to go�" states Kurillin. "Oh. Is no problem sir. I have nothing do, so
I take you to tribe. You follow me." And with this the guide starts off in
the same direction he led a red headed girl and her panda a year ago after
their falls into the springs. 'Hmm�' thinks the guide, 'where I see baldhead
fighting monk who fly before? OH!! Son Goku!!' "You are friend Kurillin of
Goku yes?? I see you fight. Be careful of amazon law�" and the guide
explains the law as we pan out.

Back in Japan�

Ukyou wakes up and doesn't see Ranma. She sees a piece of paper on the table
instead. It reads:

Hey Ucchan-

I have some training to do, and then I have to visit mom and dad. See you in
a week.

Bye-

Ranma

"RANMA!! YOU JACKASS! HOW DARE YOU LEAVE ME TO TRAIN LIKE THIS!" screams

Ranma �/Dragonball Z: The Power of Change, Chapter 7

Beginning of the End

Ranma is sitting� 40 feet in the air above a large clearing in a forest. Far
in the distance he can see the outskirts of Tokyo. He shudders slightly as
he thinks of his problems old and new. Old being the chaos that is his life.
New being the new chaos and the decision that plagues him� His newfound
feelings for his old friend and the girl that had been like an older sister
for nearly a year. Kasumi and Ukyou. No matter how he tried he couldn't
choose whom he had more feelings for. It was happening all over again, and
as always he just couldn't figure a way around anything that would end
without someone hurt.

Ranma sighs and continues slowly with his meditation and forgets his
problems for the moment to focus on the one constant in his life: Martial
Arts. His power continues to jump higher as he concentrates, and suddenly he
bursts into movement and shoots all around the surrounding air space. He has
gotten even faster since the Saffron battle. He shouts out "OKIBI KADOU!"
and a large swirling ball of energy forms in his hands then forms a
whirlwind of fire where he directed the blast. When the vortex subsides he
is left with a scorched out clearing 200 meters long and over 50 meters wide
at the widest point.

"Hmph� That's smaller than yesterday. I gotta try harder next time�" Ranma
sighs and begins gathering energy around him. "SHINKOU DORAGON DANGAN" His
aura blazes with white fire as he streaks into the sky nearing mach 5
leaving a burning trail in the air behind him. "That was better than last
time." He aims at the ground and lets loose with another attack. Ranma
shouts out "MENSHOU MORI" and a spike of ki blast forward and explodes after
drilling nearly 200 feet into the ground below. "HA!! That was way better
than yesterday!" says an excited Ranma.

"CHISHIO KOBUSHI" shouts Ranma as he blazes forward with his fist coated in
energy. "YEAH!! I'm getting good with this! And I've only been out here 2
weeks! But I gotta go talk to mom and pop soon� Oh well�" With that Ranma
lands and faces a tree and shouts "KI TSUME" and slashes in an X shape and
twin blades of ki trailed behind his hands shoot out and cleave through tree
after tree. "I guess now is as good a time as any�"mutters Ranma and then he
blasts off back towards Tokyo.

Meanwhile Ukyou mopes about after a visit from Genma. Apparently Ranma
wasn't back yet. Even Kasumi had been asking about him. Ukyou hadn't seen
Ryouga in weeks, Cologne and Shampoo were gone and the shop was bought by
some Gaijin who thought he could keep a Chinese Cuisine shop open there�
Things were all changing, and Ukyou hadn't even been used to it all for all
THAT long. Everything always changes on her�

Ryouga is flying along over a frosty plain over the north pole and wondering
where the hell he was at. "D�D�DAMN Y..YOU R..RANMA� IT'S ALL YOUR F�F�FAULT
I'M HERE AND I'M SO C..COLD!!" shouts Ryouga and then sneezes. 'Because of
him, I've seen hell AND ICE� He will pay�' With that thought Ryouga blasts
off again� Towards Northern Canada�

Genma is slightly disgruntled. He hasn't seen that ungrateful boy of his
since China, and when he looked for him at Ukyou's he was told he had gone
on a training trip. Stupid boy has no sense of responsibility. Isn't he
going to find a way to bring back his fianc� to unite the Anything Goes
schools? Damn ungrateful boy� "Oh well� I'm not staying with the Tendous
anymore after all so it doesn't really matter much anymore I suppose� Still�
The boy is a damn ingrate. I should teach him to respect his father when he
comes back�"

As he sits and says this Ranma lands silently behind him. "Oh really old
man? How about you just try to teach me a lesson you damn fat bastard! This
is ALL YOUR DAMN FAULT POPS! Damn you� You get into trouble and find a way
to make me deal with it, you use me to feed your fat belly, and now you
don't even care about Akane anymore just because you aren't free loading off
of them anymore? I say it's time I teach you about honor and being a REAL
martial artist pops. Let's go. Give it your all old man. You can't touch me.
And now I don't care if I kill you since I can just bring you back with
Akane."

Genma turns around and gapes. There's his son, the son he was going to teach
a lesson to just moments ago� The son now glaring at him with open hatred
and a massive golden aura blazing to life around him and causing his hair to
spike and flicker from blonde to black and back with his eyes totally blank.
Ranma closes his eyes and when he opens them again his eyes are green, his
hair blonde and spiked, and his power has jumped incredibly like in the
fight with Saffron. He glares intently at the object of his hatred, now
staring at him frozen in fear.

"RANMA STOP THIS!!" Ranma slowly turns to see his mother standing in the
doorway in tears.

"RANMA!! I SAID STOP!!" shouts Nodoka. Ranma slowly powers down and drops
out of super saiyan. "Ranma� Genma� I'm going to have to explain something�"
Ranma and his father look at each other slowly and walk into the home after
Nodoka. She tells them to sit at the table and goes to make tea. When she
returns she serves the tea and sits down across from her husband and son.
After a long awkward silence she says to the men "Ranma� Genma� Genma is not
your father� And Ranma� My son� I'm not your mother�"

Beginning of the End part 2: When worlds Collide

Disclaimer: Ya know� No one noticed that I forgot these on the last couple
chapters� The first few have them, it goes for the whole series. I don't own
the animes, don't sue me. La-di-da. There's so much fanfiction out. If you
wanna sue start with someone else please. I have no money.


Anyway, stuff with this: < > is in Chinese since I don't know mandarin.

Ryouga is seen flying slowly over Ontario (*wink*) and looks down over
several large towns. "DAMN IT!! THIS IS NOT JAPAN!!!!!" suddenly he feels
something like a tingle almost like a warning sense, but somehow familiar�
Like a power he can feel. A power he knows. He makes a bee-line towards it
but it's moving too fast for him to follow so instead he heads off� Towards
Russia�

Cologne is just settling in and taking a breather after only being back in
the village for a couple of days and spending much of the time trying to
keep both her own and Shampoo's honor intact. It was quite a feat to do so,
and Shampoo was in the end given one small punishment in the stead of death
or banishment. Cologne's only real enemy in the council, Sing Fail, caused
this. Shampoo was to be taken to Jusenkyou again. That was three days ago.
Imagine the poor disgruntled Sing as Shampoo was knocked into a spring once
again but this time emerged with no curse. The fool elder had paid too
little attention to detail and had knocked Shampoo into the Nyaniichuan.
Sing Fail had argued her case to the council that this wasn't right and was
not a punishment but the argument was stopped when an explosion was heard
and Cologne sensed the familiar ki of Ryouga nearby. She knew immediately
what the explosion meant and knew that without intending, Ryouga may very
well have saved her great granddaughter. Cologne is sitting in her chair
still smirking in victory over seeing her rival's face as she saw the nearly
empty lake that day.

Kurillin enters the Amazon village and asks around about Cologne. One of the
amazons, a beautiful purple haired girl asks him <What business do you have
with my great grandmother?> Kurillin simply says "What?" "Shampoo say what
you want with great grandmother?" Shampoo replies with hostility in her
voice. "Kami sent me to find her." "Shampoo no believe little bald man sent
by gods. DIE!!!" and with that Shampoo attacks with her sword. "HEY!! WHAT
ARE YOU DOING WITH THAT?? YOU COULD HURT SOMEONE!!" shouts Kurillin and with
that he catches her sword between two fingers and uses the leverage to throw
her� Through a house. He hurries to check on her and she is out cold.

Cologne hears the commotion and runs out to check. She finds out what has
happened from the bystanders and checks on Shampoo. She sees that Shampoo is
unconscious and says one simple thing. <FOR THE LOVE OF KAMI-SAMA! NOT
AGAIN!!> and then says to Kurillin� "Welcome to the village� I am Cologne.
Residing elder, and great grandmother to the girl you have knocked
unconcious. By Amazon law� I welcome you in to the family� Son-in-law." And
with that Shampoo wakes up and shakes the dust off herself and kisses the
stunned Kurillin quite deeply while thinking 'Sorry Ranma� I guess I can't
wait.'

Ranma was sitting at Nodoka's table with an untouched cup of tea, staring at
Nodoka with Genma beside him with an equally untouched cup of tea and an
expression on his face that was the mirror image of his sons... Er� Ranma's.
Finally Genma speaks. "Um, Nodoka dear� What exactly do you mean�?"

Nodoka proceeds to explain "Listen Ranma dear, you aren't our true son.
Genma and I had a son and we named him Ranma. My� Our son Ranma died in the
hospital without anyone's knowledge but my own and those on staff. He was
born with problems that didn't show up at first and he died in the night
after Genma had left. However, that is not what relates to you. Earlier the
next morning a man and a woman were brought in, dying. The woman was with
child. They both had dark black hair like you Ranma, spiked even more than
yours. Ranma, they were not of this world. They were from a planet called
Vegeta-sei. They had been attacked and their world destroyed and the two had
survived by stasis and come to earth. Ranma, those were your true parents.
They died that night and their child was given to me because the two of them
had requested that nothing of them ever be put in records. I was the easiest
choice since the real Ranma had died. Ranma, that child is you. You are part
of a race of beings from another world called the Saiyans. They are a race
of physical prowess and power. Ranma, it is a race of martial artists. This
is why you exceeded your father, Genma, at such an early age. Ranma� You�
You are an alien but born of our world."

Ranma breaks the silence after this speech with a shout. "WHAT THE HELL DO
YOU MEAN I'M AN ALIEN?!?!?! DO YOU SEE A LITTLE GREEN MAN WITH ANTENNAS
HERE????" Nodoka calmly says "No son. The green men are the Nameks. I was
visited by the one named Kami shortly after we took you home to be told that
you would be needed as was another saiyan on earth who goes by the name of
Goku. Both of you were destined to be born here and become defenders of our
planet much the same as Kami-sama is an unearthly guardian. Ranma, soon you
will be meeting with the other senshi. You will have to choose whether or
not to go with them, but you will be needed soon. The transformation you
just showed is something legends speak of� Saiyan legends. Ranma� You have
become what Kami called a Super Saiyan. There is only one other person who
has reached this level Ranma, and that is the other earthly saiyan Goku.
Kami had a long talk with me while you were in China and told me this would
come to pass. And that shortly after you would be needed. Ranma, you must be
prepared."

"NO!! THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE!!" after shouting this Ranma's aura blazes to
life and he shoots off flying as fast as he can� Which happens to be several
times faster than the speed of sound. Nodoka whispers softly as he leaves
"Ranma� Take care� My son."



Ranma �/Dragonball Z: The Power of Change, Chapter 9

Dealing and Dueling

Ranma was flying along at a nice clip. He had A LOT to think about now, and
he was going to exactly where he knew he could do it. The roof of the Tendou
family home. He lands softly on the tiles and lays down remembering the many
other times he had been up there, his feelings for Akane. His thoughts start
slowly drifting to Kasumi and Ucchan. They were being so nice and he was
starting to have feelings for them that he wasn't sure he understood. He sat
there thinking of what he mother� err� Nodoka had told him earlier. He idly
flicked a tile on the roof� And sends it flying through the dojo wall with a
loud crash.

Ranma hops quickly off the roof� And he lands awkwardly on Kasumi. "Whoa!
Kasumi! I'm so sorry! Are ya okay?" Ranma says as he quickly jumps up. "Oh
my� R�Ranma. How nice to see you. I'm fine Ranma. Won't you come in and have
some tea since you're here? Father and Nabiki are out at the moment.
Actually, your father called and I think the two of them went out drinking
again. Nabiki is out for her usual business. I am done with the cleaning and
would love to sit down to some tea with you."

"Err� Uh, sure I guess. I got nothin' better to do Kasumi. I guess I could
use some tea." Ranma says slowly. "Oh great Ranma. I'll be back in a minute.
We can drink it out on the porch here." Kasumi says in her usual happy
manner as she flashes Ranma a smile and goes off to get tea. 'Aww jeez� I
just HAD to go and over do it. Who'da thought I would flick the frickin tile
through the dojo wall?!? Damn� I feel so awkward around Kasumi after last
time�' Ranma stops thinking as Kasumi walks up and sets a small platter of
tea and small sandwiches in front of Ranma and slowly sits down by him. "I
thought you probably hadn't eaten in a few hours and knowing you I decided I
should probably make sandwiches." Kasumi says with a smile as she sits.

Ranma says through a mouthful of sandwich that he of course picked up as
soon as he saw it "Wow Kasumi. You know me pretty well don't ya? Heh. Well
thanks Kasumi-chan. These are great, just like all your meals. It's been a
while. Since before China. After that all I've had is Ukyou's okonomiyaki. I
like okonomiyaki and all but�" Ranma trails off as he looks at Kasumi's
slightly embarrassed look and realizes he just called her 'Kasumi-chan'�
"Err� Sorry Kasumi. You don't really get called 'chan' by anyone but Akane
and Nabiki� Err� Damn� I just keep putting my foot in it don't I? Maybe I
should go Kasumi. Just in case Nabiki gets home and still wants to gut me or
somethin. Thanks for the sandwiches though�" "Ranma� Don't go. It's okay.
I've known you long enough to know you rarely think before you speak. It's
just a little embarrassing. And Akane is still gone until you can find those
balls and I miss her. It's not your fault." Kasumi says as she slowly pulls
Ranma back down next to her, quite possibly surprising herself more than
Ranma. 'Why in the world did I do that?' she thinks and snatches her hand
away quickly.

"Oh my. I'm sorry Ranma. I shouldn't stop you from going. It's just� Well no
one usually talks or acts like you with me. I'm father's housekeeper more
than I'm his daughter at times and Nabiki is too wrapped up in her own
things� Akane was the only one who really treated me like family without
being overbearing like father. Then you came around and well� Anyway I'm
just a little lonely and wanted to see you. That's all Ranma. It's different
not having you around at dinner especially. I still make far too much with
the three of you gone."

Kasumi smiles softly "Ranma, we miss you. Even Nabiki I think. She's
different since this all happened. She's even more cold than normal. You
bring chaos with you� But you bring out a little of the good in all of us
Ranma. We need that." And with that Kasumi kisses Ranma softly on the cheek
then picks up the dishes quickly and runs into the house. Ranma softly
mutters "Kasumi�" then rubs his cheek and takes off flying.

Ryouga has just done a flyby of Russia and is now back over China, where he
started. He's angry. REALLY angry. And of course, when Ryouga is angry
there's only one man that is to blame. Ranma. Ryouga again senses that
familiar feeling power. This time it's moving more slowly. "RANMA!! TODAY
YOU DIE!!!!" With that Ryouga takes off straight for the power� After
breaking the sound barrier� Several times.

Kurillin is standing gaping at the people standing in front of him. He has
just had a law explained to him by the woman he was sent to find. A law that
states that because he beat the purple haired girl in combat, he has to
marry her. It's Kurillin and it's a pretty girl. You don't hear him
complaining any. "Okay� So� I gotta marry this beautiful girl, err Shampoo
right?? I gotta marry Shampoo because I knocked her out?? Oh boy� Gohan is
NEVER going to believe this!!" Cologne starts at the name Gohan and peers
carefully at the boy in front of her.

"What do you know of Goku's boy, son-in-law?" Cologne asks. "Huh? Gohan?
Gohan and Goku are my friends. THAT'S RIGHT!! I almost forgot! COLOGNE!!
You're the one Kami sent me to get! He needs you to come to the lookout for
something. He said something big is happening and that you know first hand
what he means so he wants you to come right away. This all happened and I
totally forgot. That's why Shampoo here attacked me. She didn't believe me
when I said I was looking for you for Kami."

"You! The monk! You are Kurillin are you not?? Well son-in-law, lucky for
you I have heard of you through of and on contacts or I would not believe
you either and you would not be likely to leave the village alive otherwise.
Come Shampoo. I must make preparations both for your wedding and for travel.
I leave tomorrow. That means the wedding is tonight!!"

"WHAT?!?!" exclaims Kurillin as he face faults. "Wo ai ni arien." Says
Shampoo as she kisses him. "You is stronger than Ranma I think. We be very
happy together. Especially if we kill stupid Mousse and have duck dinner for
wedding. Is okay great grandmother?" "No child once again, and for the LAST
TIME we can NOT kill Mousse and eat him just because of a Jusenkyou curse.
Now don't ask again." Says Cologne with a sigh. "Come. Let us go back to my
home. We will start the plans now."

Ryouga come flying in at Ranma who has yet to sense him and plows into him.
HARD. Ranma goes flying down and crashes through the street into the sewer
below. "RANMA!! BECAUSE OF YOU I'VE SEEN HELL AND AKANE HAS BEEN KILLED!!
THIS TIME RANMA I WILL KILL YOU!! DIEEEEEEE!" screams Ryouga as he starts
powering up. He shouts "AKANE SHISHI HOUKOU DAN!!!!!" and a huge blast of
crimson energy flies at the crater that Ranma made. Suddenly the blast goes
flying high into the sky and detonates.

"RYOUGA YOU DAMN MORON!! YOU'RE GONNA GET PEOPLE KILLED!! I DON'T KNOW HOW
YOU GOT THAT DAMN STRONG, BUT THAT MUCH POWER WOULD HAVE LEVELED HALF THIS
DAMN CITY!!" Shouts Ranma angrily with his fist still in the air smoking
slightly from knocking the energy blast flying "You and me need to talk
Ryouga. But if you want to fight first, then follow me!!" And Ranma takes
off out towards the middle of the ocean.

When Ranma stops Ryouga powers up and shouts "GOROGORO KAKI MARI" as his
hands blur and he starts shooting of several hundred fireballs in Ranma
direction. As they detonate a cloud of smoke continues to build. Finally
Ryouga stops firing and when the smoke clears he doesn't see a scrap of
Ranma left. "Hahaha!! I HAVE FINALLY KILLED YOU RANMA!!!"

As he says that he feels something tap him on the back. As he turns around a
fist is planted into his face... Really, REALLY hard. "I WAS OVER HERE THE
WHOLE TIME YOU IDIOT!!" Ranma shouts in his face as he follows Ryouga down
and just before he hits the water Ranma blasts behind him and kicks him
flying into the air. He speeds past Ryouga's flying body and catches him.
"You done yet. I said I needed to tell you something damn it. Wake up
jackass. You don't have the power to defeat me and you know it." When Ranma
finishes saying this Ryouga's eyes flutter open and he fires a huge energy
blast point blank into Ranma's chest sending him crashing into the water
below.

Dealing and Dueling: Part 2

Ryouga watched as Ranma went plunging into the water. Surely that had AT
LEAST knocked him out. Now he was drowning. "Hahahaha!! RANMA!! I FINALLY
BEAT YOU!!" he shouts. "Umm� Ryouga� Man� I'm over here." Says a very casual
sounding Ranma who is scratching his head.

"W�WHAT??? NOT EVEN A SCRATCH?!? HOW ARE YOU SO POWERFUL???" Ryouga stares
in disbelief "That's what I've been TRYING to talk about THE WHOLE TIME YOU
BUFFOON!!"

"But� I just SAW you go into the water�" Ryouga scoffs. Ranma simply states,
"Ryouga� I am too powerful and fast. If I move full speed you can't even see
me." Ryouga shouts in total disbelief "But� I wished� And� NO!! THIS IS NOT
POSSIBLE!!"


"Wished?? RYOUGA!! HOW DID YOU WISH FOR SOMETHING??"

"I found some lamp and this annoying blue genie who sounded like that
American actor guy� Uh� Robin Wilhelms or something� Anyway he popped out
and said I got 3 wishes or something but one had to be to set him free, and
so I wished for Akane to be back but he said that he can't do that only some
eternal dragon guy can. So instead I wished away my curse and to be more
powerful than you and they both worked. I used the last wish to set him free
from whatever like he said, and tried my powers by blowing Jusenkyou away
and then tried to find you, but my sense of direction� Well it's just as
bad� But I can sense you and stuff somehow. DAMN IT!! YOU DISTRACTED ME
RANMA!! YOU COWARD!! HOW DARE YOU GET ME TO TELL YOU A STORY INSTEAD OF
KILLING YOU!!! DIE RANMA!!!!!!"

Ryouga charges at Ranma nearly too fast to be seen but Ranma casually
sidesteps Ryouga and doubles his hands up and smashes Ryouga in the back of
the head as hard as he can. "Be careful Ryouga. You might get hurt."

"Hahahaha. Didn't I tell you before Ranma, your hits feel like a baby's to
me!!" Ranma facefaults and shouts, "WHAT DID YOU SAY RYOUGA?!?!"

"I SAID THAT FELT LIKE A BABY TAPPING ME ON THE HEAD!!"

"N� NO WAY RYOUGA!! THAT WAS A HARD ENOUGH HIT TO LEVEL A BUILDING!!"

Ryouga smirks at Ranma "Hmph. Well if you're saying that's the best you got
then you're going down Ranma." Ryouga charges up. "EAT THIS!! AKANE KAEN
BAKUHA!!!!!" A huge swirling blast of blazing crimson ki energy flies at a
surprised Ranma who is totally engulfed in the blast. He is shot with it
straight to the bottom of the ocean where it explodes. It results in a blast
nearly half a mile in diameter that evaporates every ounce of water in its
path.

After the blast subsides the huge cloud of steam starts to dissipate and the
sound of rushing water is all that you can hear. Ryouga smirks as he says
"Goodbye Ranma. Too bad that wish worked. Hahahaha. Now to find a way to
bring back Akane since now she'll be mine."

Back in the amazon village Kurillin is explaining to Cologne that there is
no way he can marry a girl that violent after just meeting her and beating
her by accident. Cologne of course ignores him and continues making plans
for the wedding to take place that night. Shampoo is of course thinking of
Kurillin and Ranma and can't decide what to do as by Amazon law she had
relinquished all claims to Ranma in hopes he would return for her someday,
but now that seemed impossible.

The little bald monk was sort of cute in a rather odd sort of way� And she
really had no choice since he was so much stronger than her that she was
beaten accidentally� And Cologne would not let either of them out so she may
as well get used to it and prepare to start a family. But she couldn't help
thinking of Ranma. She suddenly felt something bad was going to happen.

At that same moment Cologne sensed the power she felt after Phoenix Mountain
when son-in-law� No� Ranma� When Ranma killed Saffron after that power jump
even the normal Ranma she knew was infinitely more powerful than ever
before. That was the power she sensed. She started when she realized that
there was a second power� Even stronger� Whatever the new power was, Ranma
would need that transformation again if he wanted even an chance in this
fight. This was something that did not bode well�

Kurillin suddenly started and shot up. He felt a fight and BOTH fighters
were much stronger than even FREIZA was� That was bad. That was really,
really bad. And one power felt nasty� And it was larger than the other was�

On Kami's lookout the other Z senshi felt the same thing, and even Kami was
starting to be afraid. One power he knew, Ranma, the other he didn't have a
clue about and him not knowing a power that big was a bad sign� Very bad.
Especially since it was the larger of the two�

Ukyou was sitting around her shop. She hadn't opened that day as it was the
end of the week that Ranma was supposed to be gone and she prepared some
special food for him but he hadn't shown up yet. It was getting rather late.
She suddenly felt that something was happening but she didn't know what or
why. Somehow she knew it was Ranma� she felt it was something very bad�
"Ranma you jackass� You better come back�"

Kasumi was at home sitting and watching the sunset. It was a pleasant
evening. She suddenly knew something was happening. Something to do with
Ranma� Something bad. She didn't know how she knew, but she knew. She felt a
feeling of dread wash over her and muttered three words� "Oh my� Ranma�"

A badly hurt Ranma rises slowly out of the water and stares angrily up at
Ryouga. "YOU HAVEN'T BEATEN ME YET RYOUGA, AND I'M NOT GOING TO LET YOU!!"
Ranma starts powering up and attempts the same transformation as before� But
he can't seem to do it� 'Oh shit� I think� I think I'm too weak to do this�
But� He's going to beat me if I can't�'

Ryouga snickers. "Oh no Ranma?? What are you gonna do?? CAN'T YOU TELL YET
RANMA??? I'M FAR STRONGER THAN YOU!!!"

'Damn� He's right� I'm gonna lose� No� I'M GONNA DIE!!'

Ryouga starts to laugh. "Well Ranma�" Ryouga's aura blazes out around him
and a huge ball of energy starts to gather in his hands "This is goodbye.
I'm not so good with goodbyes� So I'm just going to kill you now!! A-KA-NE
SHI-SHI HOU-KOU DAN!!!!!!!!" The blast of energy shoots forward at Ranma too
fast for him to move and explodes around him. His power dies out for
everyone sensing him. "Hahaha. That's FINALLY the END Ranma! I can feel you
die. HAHAHAHA!! Goodbye you coward!"

Suddenly everyone can feel his power come back to life and then jump much
higher. Higher even than his last Super Saiyan transformation.

Ryouga hears Ranma call out "HOW DARE YOU CALL ME A COWARD RYOUGA!!" and he
sees a huge golden aura come to life, pushing his blast away from where
Ranma is. Then he sees Ranma, his hair even longer and spikier than it was
and it's gold. His eyes are green� And he is huge compared to normal Ranma.
He looks like the standing embodiment of power. A trail of blood runs down
one side of his face. His left arm hangs limply at his side and his right
leg is twisted at an odd angle. His leg straightens and he flexes his arm
tenderly. The blood stops running down his face and begins to dry. Ryouga
gasps.

"You never had a chance. You should have talked when I wanted too. It's too
late now Ryouga and you're too stupid to understand what I was going to say.
DIE RYOUGA!!!" Ranma blasts forward at Ryouga and disappears. He reappears
behind Ryouga and slams his back in an open hand strike. As his hand
connects he hears the sound of cracking bones and Ryouga spits up a large
amount of blood as he flies down towards the water. Ranma wastes no time and
shouts out "MENSHOU MORI!!!!"

A blindingly bright lance of golden Ki fires out of Ranma's palm and burns
straight through Ryouga's chest. He coughs up an even more incredible amount
of blood and the lance explodes, vaporizing Ryouga. Ranma starts to breathe
heavily and shrinks in size. His eyes become less cloudy and he stares at
the explosion in shock and shouts "R�Ryouga?! NO!!!!!! RYOUGA!!!!!" and
drops completely out of super saiyan mode and flies down to the water.

"Ryouga� Where are you?" he stutters. Suddenly he sees the burnt remains of
one of Ryouga's bandanas. "Ryouga� Damn it man� I'm sorry� Why'd you push me
damn you� Why?? Somehow maybe I can get you back with Akane, Ryouga� No
matter what I'll try�"

Ranma picks up the bandana and turns slowly toward Nerima saying "Goodbye
Ryouga� For now." Then blasts off flying as fast as he can.

In the lookout, Kami nods to himself. Ranma was definitely the one they were
going to need and they would need him soon.
