Hey D.B.,
Wish I hadn't read Angus' spoiler email before reading this but if wishes
were horses...
I make it a habit never to read someone else's C+C before mine, unless i
have no intention of reading the fic otherwise. Then I'll go over it to see
if another person's reaction catches my eye. It happens every now and then,
Quantum Destinies is what springs to mind.
that could, and probably will, go wrong with that idea, and you'll end up
being the one that gets screwed.
Isn't that the point? heh.
Not for Shampoo any longer.
"I see no reason why not. This sounds like an exceptionally good plan, as
long as the timing is there."
I got the sense that there are four people at this meeting...
Yep. There was.
That poor Chinese tramp, dying like the animal that she in truth was. Had
she simply accepted that Ranma was not for her, all would have been well
and
she would have been allowed to survive and live out her meaningless
So, if Kodachi was the one to 'off' Shampoo, then she knows about the
water curse... And hasn't she seen Ranma change? Even if only briefly at
the Gymnast match.
Kodachi didn't do it. Nabiki did it and told Kodachi what had happened. And
by now it's assumed she knows about Ranma's curse, not that it really
matters at this point.
"Oh?" The figure raised an eyebrow quizzically in her direction. "Meaning
what?"
Nabiki?
Yes
chef stretched across the table, offering the cup. "Why don't you drink
from
this instead?"
Now, a clever man would put the poison into his own goblet, because he
would
know that only a great fool would reach for what he was given. I am not a
great fool, so I can clearly not choose the wine in front of you. But you
must have known I was not a great fool, you would have counted on it, so
I can clearly not choose the wine in front of me!
Actually as long as you don't mix sugar in it, you're fine. :)
"You didn't need to get the boob job."
"I told you we can't risk anyone recognizing us and having word get back
to
the others."
And DB moves the story into the Gainax continuity.
Somone correctly pointed out that this OOC. Akane would never get a boob
job. :)
Good little story here. As I said in the beginning, I'd caught Angus'
reply
to you which gave away enough that I deduced most of the story.
Too bad. That's most of the intent of the fic, guessing who did what.
Quickly
paced and most of the loose ends tied up. Congrats.
Thanks. Glad you liked it.
