To the five people who actually were willing to follow my request and send their replies privately I give my most gratious thanks at this time. To the rest of you who for some unknown reason chose to ignore the multiple "Please do not send replies to the ffml" requests I ask that any future replies you might have be sent properly.
That having been said it is time to respond to both questions and criticisms along with the other miscellaneous commentry. Again I very strongly request that all replies to this post be sent privately to myself. I am always willing to answer respondants but in the future I will ignore any responses sent to the list itself.
1) Regarding the subject of whether or not Ranma would willingly have sex with a male. People I would like to take an exerpt from my pre-warning at this time. "it contains non-concetual sex" "rape". Nowhere in my story have I shown Ranma actually liking what is occurring and/or willingly participating. My only thought as to how this misconception might have taken place was in the closing scene where I have the line ".. but in the end he fell in love with me." and the line "With my husband's power ..". At this time I would like to point out that I never stated Ranma reciprocated the feeling of love. I will talk further on this subject once the full explanation list has been completed.
2) Regarding the subject of why no one came to rescue Ranma. That is in fact a very good question. If this was one of my normal works I would have gone into great detail regarding the whereabouts of the others during this time. Unfortunately the plain fact of the matter is that even when I was writing this I was ashamed of having written it. I did however make the point in the early parts of the story that the Musk warriors had snuck in and taken Ranma without ever being seen or leaving sign of their arrival. It is possible that the people back in Nerima had no clue what had happened to Ranma. In the R1/2 series and all the fanfictions, when a person is kidnapped it is usually in an attempt to draw out someone else into a trap. Therefore a note or a sign of their passing is left behind. That or by someone stumbling across the captive by pure coincedence are the only ways the kidnapped people are rescued. Does anyone realize how many children are kidnapped every year never to b!
e seen again because no ransom was demanded to lead back to the kidnappers? And to top it off this is Ranma we're talking about here. Do you know how many enemies he has racked up in his life? Also as I said this is Ranma.. for all his 'friends' and family knew a giant magical wormhole opened through the fabric of time and space and transported him somewhere else. Anything and everything was possible in his life. I am in retrospection sorry that I did not fully write out that scene.
3) On the matter of turning this one-shot into a series. Yes it was indeed asked by a couple of people. I actually wouldn't be totally averse to this possibility, however, I doubt that I will be continuing it any further myself. Therefore I am allowing anyone who desires to turn this into an actual series to feel free. You have open access to this storyline and my original work. The only thing I ask is that you let me know where the series is going to be housed on the net so that I might read up and see if you've managed to save this fic from being total porn/smut, and that you keep my pseudonym accredited for the original story "Ranko's Encapment" concept.
4) On the matter of my insulting of my own work. Indeed that is very true. I am slightly ashamed for having written it, as it appears to be mostly porn rather than a story with sexual scenes attached. My lines saying C/C were welcomed were mostly to allow people who actually had an opinion of their own be assured that I didn't mind hearing it, regardless of whether it was equal to my own opinion or not.
Now that those 4 questions have been answered I am going to explain why I wrote this 'story' in the first place.
Recently I had come across a lot of lemons that did indeed have Ranma willingly making out with this guy or that. It outraged me, much as my own work outraged many others. I couldn't figure out where the author's were coming from.. why would this character's personality change so drastically without reason? There's only been a few exceptions to this. 1) Shikima Interface by T.H. Tiger had sex demons highly influencing the actions of Ranma and others. 2) Forgot the title but it was by Lara Bartram. Mind you her works can get to be almost as smutty as my own even if not quite as graphic about it. However in her story where she was SIed into their world, she smacked Ranma over the head giving him amnesia and then after a lot of coercing to Ranko by her 'friend' Lara she managed to talk 'her' into having sex with Genma who was explained as having simply rescued her as an orphan. 3) Another forgotten title again by Ms Bartram I believe. Female Ranma and Kunou are shipwrecked togeth!
er on an island with amnesia. 'She' thinks 'her' name is 'Akane' and he thinks he is 'Ukyou'. Ranma decides 'her' name because it was a name close to 'her' heart. 'Akane' is a name that Kunou already has an attachment to. The name 'Ukyou' is a name that brings back subconscious feelings of friendship to Ranma. This sets a base for the relationship to come. Together the two fight the wild to survive and grow closer and learn to trust one another. Gradually love grows and although Ranma still has feelings that 'she' is doing something wrong they have sex. By the time the true memories come about it is far too late as the feelings of love are by now too strongly entrenched. 4) Dark Family by Nicholas Stone I believe has Ranma forced to have sex with a man in order to prevent Akane from being the one raped instead.
Basically what these stories and others like it, although not to the extremes of sex occuring, are showing is that in order to cause a relationship between Ranma and a male to occur something drastic must take place that overwhelms Ranma's core personality and thoughts. If the female hormones within his system were going to cause such an event it would have already occured.. there would be no need to write fanfiction about it.
This story was my way of showing that the only way Ranma would be having sex with a guy is if he had no choice in the matter. For Ranma's male mind, which is stricly heterosexual in taste, would never willingly choose such a pairing. His mind must either be turned into that of a female and then brainwashed, or tampered with by beings of great power, or forced to choose to save someone else whom he loves, or given no choice in the matter at all.
In my story he has been totally stripped of his energy. He can no longer even hurt a child or an elderly person. He is then forced against his will to participate in rape.
I apologize for the length of this response but I tend to get long-winded in my attempts to explain things.
