This was good.  In a strange way, it gave me hope.  Of course, I definitely
hope beyond hope I don't end up in a rut like Gendo or Kouzou, but somehow,
the prospect of that happening isn't so bad anymore.

I love the feel of this fic because it's very light-natured and one can
appreciate the normality pervading throughout the story.  It even
incorporates Neon Genesis Evangelion in such a way that one would actually
have to watch the series first to get it.  Too man "fan"-fics nowadays don't
do that anymore.  Creative, too.  This is my idea of a fic to read on any
given evening when I can't fall asleep.  With a nice cup of milk tea and
"Fly Me to the Moon" done by Megumi Hayashibara playing in the background.

Alright, now for some thoughts with more substance.  No, never mind, that
plain doesn't work on this fic.  I just can't bring myself to do it.

Oh, there is this thought, however.  Being an adolescent myself, I naturally
assume all other fans of Neon Genesis Evangelion are teenagers as well.
This obviously is not true, though understandable in a psyochological sense.
This is the type of fic that makes you want to meet the writer, because it
breaks an assumption, an unspoken law, in the reader's mind.  For me, this
is one of the ways it achieved that feat.  And I thought all girls ever
write are sappy WAFF takes...

This fic also managed to keep its grasp on my attention throughout its
entire being, away from my college applications.  That does say something,
for those wondering.

I giddily anticipate the next installment.
