While I don't plan to change the story, I think some of the recent comments
about Ranko <sniff> crying too much, s-stuttering t-too much, and <kusu
kusu> giggling too much are probably right. I'm going through the story and
doing some editing. Don't expect major changes, but expect some sighs or
forlorn looks in place of crying in some scenes, less stuttering, and laughs
replacing some of the giggles. I'm still learning as a writer, and I think I
just tended to get stuck on certain things.
I'm not going to bother reposting the whole story for this (you're welcome
^_^). If I make a significant change to a chapter I'll repost it here.
Eventually, you'll be able to see the entire revised version on Steve's web
site and rec.arts.anime.creative. I won't post it to the newsgroup until I'm
done with all the edits.
Again, don't expect major changes in Ranko's personality or the plot. I did
hear what people had to say, and I think I understand their viewpoints, but
I prefer the story the way it is.
