Wah! If I knew you were going-- ;_;
Actually, we briefly met, but weren't introduced on Sunday-- didn't
find out until too late (maybe next year!)

[El Hazard] Awakening of a Demon God
by Matthew Lewis <maybeso@home.com>

Matt proves that being an Admin doesn't mean that he no longer has
anytime to write - congrats on 'The World of Too Many Authors' as
well! Took me two days to repair the brain damage from reading that. ;)

Yes, that's the great thing about ignoring admin duties... er, I mean,
it's strange that I seem to have some more time to write, or more
desire, at any rate. I seemed to have hit upon a formula for enabling
me to write which involves reading really, really bad fics to engender
the desire to write, so that I don't have to read them. ^_^

Oddly enough, that's not even the right version of The World of Too Many
Authors that I sent out-- there's one part that's different, right near
the end, and I did not check that particular part to see if I got the
right one. ;_; Have to go back, fix a few errors that have been pointed
out to me and should be in both copies, and then post the right one. I'm
not in a big rush, though. (glad you enjoyed it! ^_^ )

Mr Lewis has carved a particular niche in writing about the
technology and history of El Hazard that will probably shape El
Hazard fanfic the way Stefan Gagne has had a huge influence on
Slayers fanfic. This piece, together with 'A Statue's Life' and
others, will flesh out a 'classic' El Hazard feel that future fics
can take note of.

As a cranky aside, hopefully, Matt will embark on a new El Hazard
series. i really like EH stuff. Alan Harnum's Mortal Engines appears
to be on hiatus due to Utena work... oh well, you can't have every-
thing... On the bright side, it seems that a story is forthcoming
>from Emily Siazon. Yatta!!!

Well, On the Creation of Demon Gods, and Genetic Engineering and
Reengineering in El Hazard, were supposed to be parts of a trilogy,
really, with a third one for the Eye of God, but for some reason I
still have not got around to writing it(I have every intention to do so,
remember, there was about a two year space in between those two-- I've still
got some leeway if you thing about it that way). And then there's my on-again,
off again Phantom Tribe history, which I'm not even sure of its
whereabouts. But hey, you never know when ideas will hit-- it's what's
on my plate, in a sense (ongoing project) at any rate.
(Also looking forward to the new Emily Saizon one-- yay!) ^_^
