This is an original idea of mine, of which I started a
few years ago.. The relation to anime on this, is that
I have drawn many anime type drawings for this
already... It's very interesting...

Aknar's Quest
Mid-1300s...
               Chapter 1 The Beginning

"Aknar... I'm sorry..." He heard the girl say. He
slowly opened his eyes and sat up. Then he stood up
and walked
past his sister, Kai, and past his Mother and
Father's room, he walked out of the house and sat on
the ground,
looking up at the stars. There were a few clouds he
could see, lit up by the moon. The ground beneath him
was cool
and slightly moist. "What are hese dreams about...
Why have I been having them lately" He thought to
himself. He
                     looked down and slowly drifted
asleep this time without dreams....

He woke up right when the sun came up. He saw a few
towns peopl walking back and forth. He looked at them
and
quicky sat up. "Oh, no I fell asleep out here?" He
mumbled quietly. Then he saw his friend in the
distance, who was
                                        slowly walking
over.

"Hello Magus" Aknar said. "Hello.. Aknar why did you
sleep out here?" "I couldn't sleep so I came out here,
and I
                                        fell asleep."
"oh.".

Seconds later , Aknar's sister Kai came outside and
yawned. She stood between Aknar and Magus. "Why hello,
Kai.
How are you lately?" Magus asked. "Good, Magus
thanks." She replied. (Kai was 13, Magus and Aknar 12)
Kai sat
between the two. "I slept great" She said quietly. "I
wish I could sleep better," Aknar mumbled. "Sleep
disorder?"
Kai asked. "No, weird dreams," Aknar replied. "Some
people say dreams tell the future and explain the
past"
             Magus explained. "It's probably just
something I made up in my head," Aknar argued.

Kai had gone back in the house minutes later. Magus
and Aknar sat there doing nothing. "I'm bored..."
Magus
murmured. "Me too..." Aknar added. "hello" The two
of them heard. "huh? oh hi Arthur" They both said at
the
same time. Arthur was Magus younger brother. "So
what do you want to do?" Arthur asked as he plopped on
the
floor next to Magus. "We don't know..."
Aknar replied. "Neither do I" He said.

"So , what are these dreams about?" Magus asked. "It
doesn't matter.." Aknar replied. "Dreams? what dreams?
C'mon tell me , tell me now!" Arthur yelled. (Arthur
was 10, and very hyper) "No.." Aknar answered."Looks
like
we're not gonna get it out of you today," Magus told
him. "That's right..." Aknar said. "Or ever," He
continued.

They all walked out of the town and sat by the wall.
They could see the small lake, which had a few trees
around it.
They looked into the distance and they saw a few
horse, with men on them. "What's that?" Arthur asked.
"It looks
like an army," Magus said. "What would they want with
this town...? They're probably not coming here," Aknar
said.
"I doubt that, they could be.." Magus suggested. "We
should warn our families," Arthur said. Magus and
Aknar split
                                               up.

Aknar walked into the house and looked around for his
sister and mother. He looked in his room, but his
sister was
not there. Then he searched his mother's room, and
the two of them were sitting on his mother's bed
talking. "Kai,
Mother, There's an army outside and we're not sure
if they're coming towards us... But you two should
check..."
Aknar explained. The two of them stood up "Maybe we
should check," Aknar's Mother said. "Okay, let us go"
Kai
                          said. They both followed
them to the outside of town.

A few minutes later Magus and his family
approached. "Looks like they're heading towards us!"
Kai exclaimed.
Let's leave now, quick! They all ran out of the town
and safely behind a tree by the lake. By the time they
reached
that point, the huge army of knights, foot soldiers,
and horsed knights were at the village. They stood and
watched ,
as the horrific battle took place, and
the army easily took and burned the small village.

                                Chapter 2: Leaving
It had been three years after that terrible incident,
in their old town. Aknar and Magus were now 15, Arthur
13, and
Kai 16. They had settled in two houses, by an
ocean. Next to them was a lake, in which they recieved
drinkable
water. And since there was an ocean they had more
chances to bathe. So life was pretty good.. except for
one thing.

A few days after the town burnt down, the two
families came upon a frog like creature. It had large
horns, fangs, and a
spikey tale, which it could easily kill someone
with. It attacked them, but Aknar, Magus, and their
Fathers easily
                                           defeated
it.

After that, when they settled the monsters grew at a
normal rate. They were breeding. But soon more came.
Over
sized ants, and lizards. Strange creatures they have
never seen. The monsters sometimes attacked their two
houses,
but they fought them off. They would make weapons,
but the forest they were surrounded by had now become
much
too dangerous. And they needed the
close trees for firewood, and fishing poles.

They mostly lived off fish unless a deer may had
wandered in. Or, they ate fruit from a tree by their
house which held
                                             apples.

Aknar sometimes still had the dreams. But he gave up
long ago, on figuring out what they meant. The only
thing that
happened in his dreams was a girl apologizing, and
him feeling weird. He gave up because it just confused
him.

It was a clear morning when Aknar awoke. He slowly
walked out of his house. He was the only one awake. It
was late
spring. The air was slightly warm. Aknar looked
across the ocean. He began thinking of his town, and
the people's
suffering. He thought about how he missed
the town. Then he suddenly realized something.

"The town was burnt down by someone.." He thought "I
could find this person. Maybe, Magus will come. And I
am
almost certain these ... monsters... came from this
man who burnt our village. I am old enough now...
Strong enough...
                     And maybe... Just maybe... I'll
figure out what these dreams mean."

He sat thinking for awhile. About 30 minutes after he
had these thoughts, Magus came out. "Hello, Aknar." He
said.
"Hello, Magus" Aknar replied as he turned his head
to him. "Magus?" "Yes?" "Um, this might sound
ridiculous,
but I think maybe we could find this man who burnt
our village... We could defeat him and stop the flow
of monsters."
"We'll die! Besides what does HE have to do with
monsters," "Think about it. Monsters didn't start
appearing until
this man came," "Aknar, I think you're right. But
the matter of our death still comes in," "Oh, really.
You would
rather us stay alive, than so many innoccents. The
fact remains that this person killed alot of our
people. Who knows
how many villages he has attacked, and destroyed. And
his minions most likely killed hundreds. So no matter
what, I
am going. I am not so self centered that I would not
risk my life for thousands of innoccent lives." "Wait,
Aknar. I'll
come. You're right I would not want so many to be
brought to death. We might be able to help. Even if we
do die." "I
                                    suggest we tell
our families."

Aknar and Magus walked into their houses. Aknar
looked at his Mother, Father and Sister, who he had
gathered up
in the kitchen/bedroom. They all looked at him, and
his mother said: "What do you wish to tell us, Aknar,"
"Mother"
He began "I must leave our home now." "Why?" She
asked him "The man.. who burnt our village. We must
defeat
him. Magus and I will go. We need to defeat him, or
die trying. Innoccent lives our being lost because of
this man.
He is evil. He needs to die." "Very well. Even so,
I disapprove, I know I can't stop you from going."
Then, Kai
blurted out "I'm going! I'm going!" "Kai, I think
you should stay." Aknar told her. "No! It was my
village too! I
believe he should be put to justice. I am strong
enough! I can help you! Let me come, please!" Aknar
looked at her.
"Well fine." He said. "Mother?" Aknar asked. "Well,
okay but it'll be lonely with just us," She answered.
"Aknar, I
still have these. In case you find a town, you need
this." She handed him 20 small gold coins. He smiled
and took
                                      them. "Okay,
Mother."

Aknar walked outside, to see Magus standing there.
"Kai's coming?" He asked. "Yes." She said. "She
insisted."
Aknar added. Aknar, Kai, and Magus walked to the
tree with apples, and packed 10 of them. "This is all
we can
take" Aknar said, as he picked up a fishing pole
from the side of the house. "We must catch our own
fish." He
continued. They had a normal size burlap backpack,
which Aknar was carrying. "Now we must approach this
forest."
Aknar said as he looked out towards it. "I remember
how hard it was when there were no monsters..." Kai
said with
                            her head down. "This'll be
tough," Magus added.
