It's a wonderful thing when you come home one day, your body in pain from
falling down hard, and settle down into your chair to find that the next
chapter of "Children of an Elder God" has been completed. By the heavens,
did that send a wave of joy through my bloodstream.
I'm not going to state the obvious in this chapter; I'm not going to repeat
what I said about the last chapters; I'm not going to go on and on about how
great it is (I think I am, already. Crap). Seriously, though, was it me,
or was this chapter heavier than the others? That is, there seemed to be
less humor (at least for my brain to see). Maybe it's just the aching of my
beat-up physique.
As for the spelling and grammar of the chapter, I think the word "people"
was spelled as "peope" once, and "Lyn" was spelled "Lynn" (or was it the
other way around?).
Good luck, Ayanami Rei! Break out, blossom, bloom, open, fight, struggle,
resist, conquer, endure, persist, decide, determine, resolve, promise,
fulfill, break out, be free, be happy, be alive!
...and damn you, Gendo!
...so basically, it was a pleasure to read this in its own way.
Eager,
Jonathan Wang
