Premise: What if the koi fishing rod (from Ranma 1/2) ended up in the
Slayers universe?
The koi fishing rod is a magical fishing rod that has a suction cup on
the end. All the user has to do to make someone fall in love with them
is to hit the breast of that person with the suction cup.
This spamfic is a parody of a fragment of Richard Lawson's "The Koi on
Her Breast" (http://www.tass.org/fanfic/ranma.the-koi-on-her-breast),
a novelization of the original manga story.

If it failed, I'd look a little silly. But if it worked... I began to
tremble a little. To have Gourry-sama's love... that was worth the
risk of looking foolish.
There were other voices from around the corner, which I ignored, just
as I ignored whatever voice was whispering inside of me, telling me
that this was wrong.
<Gourry-sama!> I surged to my feet. "Here it goes!" I cast the rod in
front of me; the sucker at the end of the line disappeared around the
corner.
I felt it attach itself to something. "A response!" I pulled it,
lifting my catch around the corner. My heart was racing, my breathing
ragged. I'd done it! I'd snagged...
"Li--- Lina-san?!" I exclaimed in shocked surprise upon seeing the
person I had caught land in front of me, with the suction cup attached
to her breast.

Author's notes:
In the original manga story, Ryouga gets a hold of the koi fishing rod
and tries to snag Akane, but ends up getting Ranma instead.
Speculations of what could happen if the koi fishing rod ended up in
the Slayers universe were thrown around on FFIRC. I decided to use the
following parallel:
Takahashi intended for Ranma and Akane to be a couple. Ryouga loves
Akane, but Akane doesn't realize it and he's too shy to come out and
say it to her. Ryouga tries to snag Akane but gets Ranma.
Kanzaka intended for Lina and Gourry to be a couple. Sylphiel loves
Gourry, but Gourry doesn't realize it and she's too shy to come out
and say it to him.
So, Sylphiel should try to snag Gourry but get LINA. ^_^
