inadequate to my mind. Things always popped up to cause him to change.
There's no way he could keep avoiding that forever even with
"waterproof soap", since the soap is unpredictable in how long before
it wears off.
Well, if he uses it every day, and still keeps on avoiding water as much as
possible...
Remember, Ryoga was standing in a *waterfall*, which caused the soap to wash
off.
My suggestion is that maybe he finally found a priest or something who
could remove the part of the curse that makes it more likely he'd be hit
by water.

Then again, sometimes it's just a few random drops that come down,
for about a minute, before the rain really begins.
I don't much like the whole "fight all the jocks" routine. Why are
they doing it? This Akane doesn't have much to offer it seems. Her
unpleasant visage is mirrored by a really nasty disposition. She
doesn't seem to have the streak of kindness that endeared Ranma to her
in the original despite her bad temper.
Then again, she's sorta pitiful, and Ranma's a sucker for that kinda thing.
...So's Akane, now that I think of it. Also, this might make Ranma see
why insulting people isn't always so harmless...
