Well, after a month, I have the last chapter. Yes, it's not very good,
yes no ones reading it, yes it's very late, yes it's really word, yes
it's not written to well. I just didn't want to leave a series
unfinished. It has been gnawing at me for months, and now I have decided
to end the story.
Hope you enjoy.

Chapter 36: And when the curtains close, who will be alive to give
their applause?

I looked at Steven, and he stared back at me. We had malicious
glares going back and forth, for I didn't like him. I didn't like anyone
in particular, life had taught me not to. If you care about someone,
then that person will vanish. I radiate a field of death, everyone who
stands near me dies.
I looked over at Maeyli, and then at Sarah. They were both leaning
up against the pillar, waiting for something to happen. They followed
me, to hell, and hopefully back. But I had a feeling that no one would
get back alive, not even me.
    "Lets go."
That's all I said, and started to walk down the stairs. I was
quickly followed by Maeyli and Sarah, who looked quite confused, but
didn't question my decision. Steven looked at the back of my head for
a few seconds, and then joined us, limping down the stairs.
We walked, step by step, down from where the obelisk stood. I was
wondering what to do. How to get to Guni and ho to get to God. They had
vanished, but I knew they were alive. It would take more then a few
tries to kill them.
As my feet hit the steps for the thirty-seventh time, I heard a
scream. I turned around quickly to see a giant, glowing lance sticking
out of Maeyli's torso. Blood was leaking out onto her clothes and onto
the floor. She didn't live long enough to say anything, she just
collapsed.
I looked up and saw two people standing at the top of the stairs.
One was dressed in a green robe which disguised his features. The other
person was wearing all black, with large, bat- like wings, and those
damned red eyes. It was Guni.
The one in green laughed as he looked down at the lifeless corpse.
"One more down, only a few left to go."
I felt my anger flare up, and with that, my cross-shaped sword
appeared in my hand and I charged towards the two. I didn't even make it
half way. A blast of white light appeared from nowhere and struck me. I
fell down all the steps, resting at the bottom of them. I was hurt
badly, the world was blurred just a little to me. I couldn't move, I was
numb.
The man in green laughed again. "Nothing can stand before to the
hand of God. Die!"
Before he could summon another beam of light to strike me down, a
man appeared in front of him, wielding a sword. It was Matthew.
The blade didn't meet the man's body. The man simply side-stepped
out of the way, and spin-kicked Matthew in the back. He went flying, and
collided with the obelisk.
The man in green smiled, and beams of light appeared, striking
Matthew over and over again. Piercing his body, and piercing the obelisk
as well.
Once Matthew's body had fallen limp to the ground, the obelisk
started to crack, due to the holes formed by the Hand of God. The cracks
spread, and before you knew it, the whole thing shattered into a million
pieces. There was a deafening scream, and then everything went black.
No, I did not lose consciousness, the whole world turned black.
The man in green was there, as was Matthew's body, and Maeyli's.
Sarah and Steven were standing, not far in front of me, and I was left
on the ground.
Yet Guni was nowhere to be seen, where had he gone?
Before I had more time to think, a voice echoed through the area.
"And now you all die. With all the immortal ones dead, then humanity
will be left to it's own devices."
    And then, I lost consciousness..........
Megami sighed as she finished talking. It was done. Now the only
thing left was to kill herself, then everything besides mankind would be
dead. And they would be left alone, not bother by bickering God's.
Before she had a chance to kill herself, someone else did the job. A
knife, right through the back. She fell to the ground, covered with
blood. Looking at her body was Guni, who smiled devilishly.
He was about to walk away, when the woman's body began to shift. It
changed, into a woman wearing a white dress, and with long, red hair.
Guni was surprised, but his smile soon returned. "So she faked her
own death. White interesting I didn't think the bitch had it in her. Oh
well, now that Lilith's gone, there is no one left who can defeat me.
The world is mine!" And his laugh echoed through the darkness........
I awoke on a ground, parched yellow. Crosses grew on this ground,
like tress. It seemed that I was in a forest of tall, white crosses
which stretched on as far as I could see. These crosses were all on
fire, a crimson blade burned on each one.
I then heard a voice. "Today, is the first day of the rest of your
torment."
