Warning: This story could be considered a number of things: perhaps
[Dark], [Lemon/Lime], and [Slash]. Then again, maybe not. Please,
please, read through the entire thing before making any judgement.

Ranma and Ryoga:

More than just friends:

Soulmates

Written by Curtiss Nelson (aka Me)

It was the night of a full moon, the brilliant spotlight of
reflected light stabbing downwards, even as the illumination of the
heavens provided the nocturnal and dormant Earth being the faint light
of the stars above.
In this scene of relative tranquility, the calmness was tainted
by the graceful and eager, yet hesitant and fearful motion of an intruder
to the nights stillness.
The figure, clearly human even in the light, and male at that,
silhouetted ephemereal in the faint photos, hurriedly moved across the
crops growing in the field, even as he dartingly looked over his
shoulder, fearful of something or someone following.
Ack! cried the male, as he stumbled through the trees and
vegetation of the field, impaired in the dark. He bent over, and picked
up several objects.
	Stupid limes. Stupid lemons.
With that, he continued on, until he reached came on a blazing
campfire up ahead.

Confident he was not being followed, the male, a teenage boy,
entered the light of the fire, where another awaited.

*	*	*	*	*	*	*	*

They looked at each other. Both knew what had drawn them
to this place. This night. The secret they shared. The bond they had.
	Ranma, one acknowledged.
	Ryoga, the other nodded.
They stood there at a tableau, staring at one another.
No more words were necessary, as they both sat at the fire,
their emotions turgid and heavy in the mortal frames they bore. Both
stared into the flames, as though it was some augur of the divine,
granting some new insight into their predicament.
But nothing was forthcoming, as they both knew would be the
case. They had been through this ritual before.
It happened again, didnt it one of the two said.
	Umm the other replied.
	They stared at the fire.
We cant fight it, you know.
A sigh. I know. The voice was dead of emotion.
	More time.
You know what has to be done.
	Yes, to release it.
	The urge.
They looked at each other, both having spoken the last at the
same time. Both dropped their eyes.
I want to tell them, you know. The truth about us.
One reached out to touch the others hand in a warm and
comforting grasp. I know. I do too. Its just
The hand was joined by another, as they looked into each
others eyes with the a gaze that spoke more eloquently than any words,
conveying thoughts, ideas, hopes, even desires.
We cant. They will think of us as freaks
And think of our relationship as unnatural. I know
There were tears in both boys eyes.
We both want to tell them-
-but in the end, all we have is each other.
No more words needed to be said. They both knew what the
other needed.
Still they were nervous, even though they had done this
before. Always in secret, whether in remote locations, or the hurried
secrecy of the school janitorial room. Ever since that fateful meeting in
the all boys school, when they both felt the biological urge, and knew
they needed each other.
	You first.
One motioned to a log. The other hesitantly approached,
before with a sigh and sense of finality, undid the pants and allowed
both them and the underwear beneath to fall, standing naked from the
waist down. Kneeling down, he bent over the log, legs and buttocks
pale in the moonlight.
A hand reached down to caress the quivering flesh, even as the
supplicant trembled in anticipation.
Hurry. Do it, the need in the supplicants voice was
unmistakable.
Here it comes, was the soft whisper.

	AHHHHH!!!!
Stop squirming -gasp- around so much gasp-
	Hur-ry up. I-I-I need it!
It hurts more when you tense up!
I cant help it! Its bigger than last time!
	Take it like a man!
More gasps and grunts could be heard.
	BAs-TARD!!! Hur-ry it up!!!
An evil chuckle. Well then, maybe Ill take it a little slow!
	Jerk! Dont t-t-tease mee!!!
Then again, maybe all the way to the hilt!
	This continued for some time.

Finally, tired, the supplicant collapsed, utterly exhausted,
bodily fluids dribbling down his leg in a tiny river, wetting the grass of
the ground.
The other, exhausted from the strenuous activity, panted
heavily nearby.
Finally, with a savage grin, finding inner reserves of strength,
the first rose, and in one swift move tore pants and undergarments from
his counterpart, before slamming him over a log.
Slow, you bastard? While I wanted satisfaction?
	Heh-heh. Just a little joke?
Joke? Lets see how you like it rough and brutal!

Something similar to above happened then, though shorter and
with much more noise.

*	*	*	*	*	*	*	*

Finally, spent, both boys leaned against each, unclothed from
the waist down, their backsides splattered with bodily fluids. They
gulped air like water, and trembled a little in the cool night air. In such
an environment, both Ranma and Ryoga turned to contemplation and
reflection.
Its never going to end, is it? This need.
The other boy shook his head. Probably not.
Silence, for a time. It hasnt yet.
	Yes.
	More silence.
Is this what you expected when we made that final wish?
	Not really.
Maybe it is fate. To be endlessly called to one another,
needing each other, and through conflict our meaning found?
The other looked at the first strangely. Did you become a
poet in one of your other lives, Goku?
The first shook his then grinned and laughed.
The other regarded the first with a glare. Whats so funny?
In all our reincarnations, this is the first time youve called
me Goku, Vejita.
	A scowl. Shut up, Kakarotto!
They looked at each other, then broke out laughing, before
standing and gathering their clothes and dressing. One looked up at the
full moon.
We almost didnt make it this time.
The other gazed skyward as well, then gave a clap on the
shoulder. Dont worry, well always find each other.
A nod, and then both boys began to float up in the air.
	See you, jerk!
	You too, idoit!
And with that, they both flew off.
Leaving illuminated in the moonlight the two freshly served
monkey tails, still covered and splashed in blood, and beside them, the
stained knife that had slashed them.

So what did you think? Suspenseful? Good?

What did you say? You were expecting WHAT?!

Come now, didnt you read the subject headers? I gave you everything
I promised!

Heh-heh, just kidding. I actually wrote this on a whim. Usually, when
I see slash or yaoi fanfics on the FFML, I just delete them. Then again,
I frequently do the same for lesbian fics. Its not that I am bias against
those subjects, it is just that the ones I read tend to be repetitive; the
same. I actually have read a couple good Kurama/Hiei yaoi fics, but
that is about it.

(Dude, your digging yourself a bigger hole)

Right. Well, I just intended this in good fun. I hope you enjoyed it.
As always, C+C is appreciated. And I must thank my pre-reader, The
Apprentice, for giving me the okay sign.

In other news, I have gotten over my writers block, and am now writing
somewhat more consistently. Thus, for those interested in Night
Sabers, Its A Kind of Magic, Double Helix, or Resurrected Memories,
I am writing once more (though very slowly, still)!

P.S.: My email is now quantum_nova@hotmail.com

P.S.2: Has anyone else noticed that yaoi fics tend to be written by girls,
and lesbian fics by guys? Strange, no? Just an observation.

Until next time.
