Here's a look at various fanfic ideas I've had, but am either stuck or have never figured out a feasible way to write beyond plot form. Feel free to take a crack at any of these if you like, I may yet do my own version:
Ranma The Mighty- Ranma finally finds a cure, only to stumble into a battle between Birdy and Raven's forces. Ranma is killed, and is forced to share a body with Birdy. Now, Ranma still changes into a girl, but the girl has a mind of her own, can switch bodies at will, and can manipulate Ranma's body as well!
Ryoko's Big Score!- A spoof of blaxploitation films where Ryoko deals with the Hong Kong Triad and the Yakuza as she tries to unload a large haul of illegal narcotics in Bangkok.
Ranma: Law & Order- The Tendos and Saotomes go to New York on vacation, only to have Ranma and Akane brutually murdered. The story is told from the point of view of the cast of the Law & Order TV show as they investigate the crime and prosecute first Shampoo, then Ukyou for the crime.
Taking The Initiative- After losing his virginity to Haruna, Tenchi returns to Ryoko and Ayeka with tons more confidence around girls. A WAFFY tale that shows Tenchi showing open affection for Ryoko as he no longer feels the need to run away from her flirting.
The Empire of Japan- A series of vignettes that look at what various anime series would be like if Japan had won World War II and now ruled most of South East Asia. Shampoo is a "comfort wife" for Japanese soldiers, Noboyuki Masaki was killed in 1980 as a Kamikaze pilot during the Korean War for Independence, the Nadesico is part of an interplanetary invasion force etc.
Paradise Lost: The Child Murders at Nerima Hills- Written in the style of a true-crime novel, the story details the Tokyo Police's investigation of the ritualistic slayings of Akane Tendo, Ranma Saotome and Ukyou Kuonji and the prosecution of Gosunkugi, Daisuke and Hiroshi, who are members of a secret devil cult. Based on the HBO documentary "Paradise Lost: The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills" and the real life case that occurred in West Memphis, Arkansas.
Ranma: The Thing- Ranma, Ryoga, Akane, Ukyou, Nabiki, Kasumi, Shampoo, Mousse and Cologne end up trapped at a research post in Antartica. There, they accidentally release a shape-changing alien that had been frozen in the permafrost for 1,000,000 years. Paranoia descends as the group is killed off, one-by-one, until Ranma finally kills the creature by blowing up the facility. Ranma and Ryoga are the only survivors and settle down to await freezing to death. A fusion of Ranma and the John Carpenter movie "The Thing."
Ranma The Death Match Wrestler- Ranma abandons martial arts in favor of "garbage wrestling." Akane and co. react as Ranma begins wrestling in "exploding barbed wire" and "landmine thumbtack flaming barbed wire bat" death matches that Mic Foley popularized.
