I didn't want to repost until I was convinced that Crosswinds was stable
and everything was fine, but I'm happy to report that the FFML
Mini-Archive has been up with almost no service interruption for the
last two months, and contains over 12,150 stories with more being added
frequently (somewhere between daily and weekly <grin>)

Additionally, while the administrative staff of the web site has been
combing the net for lost and incomplete fics and broken links in the
site, I have been working on adding features and improving the software
engine that processes the FFML emails and generates the web pages.
Improvements thus far have included the addition of a search function to
the site (it's moderately useful; I don't think they anticipated such a
large site when yep.com offered the service for free)

Coming soon will be additional index pages, based on authors, story
types, and series. I also hope to add more commentary by setting up a
system to translate inbound emails into formated pages. Finally, I will
start accepting links by email to post for other fanfic sites.(not yet;
I don't have the software written to parse them out quite finished)

The URL?

Come see what we've been up to. If you stick around for another week or
so, you'll be even more amazed (if my boss doesn't stick me with a bunch
of work before then <grin>)

Thanks,
Mike Dickinson
