Chapter 1
~ Moon
Her mind went back to the first time she realized that she was to be sent to
the Moon Kingdom for Senshi training…
"No! I won't go! Mama and Papa can't make me!!" shrieked a little girl of
seven as she ran through the hallways of the Royal Palace of Earth.
A portly maid ran breathlessly after the little princess. "Princess Kora!
Come back! King Helicon and Queen Aetna will be most displeased if you aren't
at the throne room in an hour! Every Princess of Earth must go to the moon to
be trained. You know how dangerous it is now on Earth with the peace talking
meetings with the warlords of Makai. Be good, princess!" In a last desperate
attempt the maid yelled out, "I'll give you something if you behave!"
The princess finally stopped and backtracked to the maid. She asked
suspiciously, "What will you give me, Thea? Tell me now!"
Thea the maid shook her head firmly as she said, "You won't get it unless
you're ready and in the Throne Room in one hour."
Realizing that the maid had duped her, Kora stuck out her tongue at Thea and
tried to start running again. But the maid, knowing the princess' antics,
wisely picked up the girl, holding her tightly to her bosom before she
started walking.
When the door to Princess Kora's chambers closed, every servant in the palace
breathed a sigh of relief. Even if they would miss the princess, it would be
very peaceful after the little girl left. She was a terror and nearly every
one of them had been fooled at one time or another by the little princess.
Finally after a lot of heartfelt pleading from her mama, Queen Aetna; her
brother, Endymion (elder than she by five years); and a scolding from her
papa, King Helicon, Princess Kora was convinced to go to the Moon with the
promise that Endymion and their parents would always send letters to her. She
would have to stay on the moon for 10 years to train for the duty of
protecting the Silver Millenium from invasion from within the tellulunar
system -- that is, from the Makai -- as opposed to the other planets,
protecting the moon from extratellulunar invasion…
Keiko giggled as she remembered some of the antics she put the royal staff
through. She used to be a real terror sometimes when she was growing up on
the earth and the moon. Then her memories turned nostalgic as she fondly
remembered meeting the moon princess for the first time.
Kora had discovered that they were some sort of kindred spirits. She
sometimes caused a little mischief for fun, not meaning anything; the
difference with Serenity was that she never did it deliberately-- the
Princess just wanted to help out.
Things however happen, Serenity always had the best of intentions, but she
causes more trouble. They were fairly distant cousins, related on their
respective maternal sides.
Training at the moon was a happy and wondrous time for Kora. Given a guardian
cat named Terra, Kora quickly made friends with all the princesses residing
there but was closest to Princess Serenity and the Outer Senshi.
Another memory that stood out to Keiko's mind was when Endymion first came to
the moon: it was the biggest turning point for her, one that she could never
forget…
"GET BACK HERE!" shouted an enormous crowd that included the senshi
princesses and most of the royal court chasing Princess Kora and Princess
Serenity.
"Why me!" bemoaned Serenity.
"Come on, Serenity! Stop complaining and RUN!" Kora called back.
"Alright already Kora! I guess we deserved it, but why are almost half of
moon's royal court chasing after us? The things we did were really simple… I
mean we wrecked Mako-chan's cake, really disturbed Rei-chan's praying,
Setsuna's meditation with Hotaru-chan, Haruka's harp practice, Michiru's
kithara practicing, Ami-chan's studying, messed up Minako-chan's primping [1]
and upset a few pots, pans, dishes of food, and vases. I mean, Mother
wouldn't mind it, but why is the court chasing after us?"
"I don't know, Serenity, but do keep on running because you're slowing us
down. Besides, these things always happens to us, you should know it by now."
"Yes, I know, but Kora-chan, this really takes the cake this time," tossed
back Serenity.
"Yeah, I know," Kora replied, smiling.
Laughing with mirth they ran past an astonished Queen Selenity standing with
the Cat Guardians, Luna, Artemis and Terra [2] and a big group of men. Kora
didn't notice a certain man in the group as she and Serenity ran for dear
life.
When the princesses and almost half the court were out of the room, the group
of men stared in shock after the running princesses, followed by half the
court with murder in their eyes.
Prince Endymion looked at the doorway for a moment and then turned back to
Queen Selenity. "What just happened?" he inquired. Queen Selenity, as always,
gave no response except a smile and a shake of the head to indicate that she
didn't know either.
Endymion then turned to Artemis, who just shrugged and replied, "Things like
this happen almost every single day, but this is the first time I've ever
seen such a massive crowd chase after your sister and Princess Serenity. I
don't know how they do it, but they seem to attract that kind of attention
somehow. Every single time you see something like that, you'll know that
Serenity and Kora have gotten into some sort of trouble again. We're very
used to it, but it may be a bit surprising for you and your commanders to see
a spectacle like this. My apologies on this matter."
A while later, the two princesses walked into the throne room (having been
equally scolded and reprimanded). Serenity ran to stand beside her mother.
Curtsying Kora said "Good day, Queen Selenity-sama." Selenity acknowledged
the earth senshi's greeting. When Kora turned to leave -- "Goodbye,
Selenity-sama -- " she saw the guests there for the first time. One guest
however stood out…
Her brother, Endymion, whom she hadn't seen in almost nine years; they had
met only once after she left for the moon to train when she was thirteen, he
eighteen.
"ONIISAMA!" Kora shrieked as she ran forward, leaping into his waiting arms.
"Easy there, Ra-chan. Let me look at you. Why, you've grown up to be just as
ugly as when you were *little* imoto," Joked Endymion. Kora socked her
brother on the arm at his jest.
When Kora finished talking and laughing with her brother, she turned to see
Serenity looking at Endymion with starry eyes. Kora smiled as she introduced
Serenity and Endymion, liking the way her brother and Serenity looked as a
couple. Who knows; maybe in a few years, Serenity would be her gishi.
Still, caution was still important. An alliance of Earth with the moon
wouldn't be a good one… Many people on the moon and earth would still frown
upon it. Even though the Silver Millennium was at peace, there were still
prejudiced people.
Kora then learned that her brother had brought new warriors besides the
generals- the Hikarimori. Their job was to keep peace between the Makai and
Earth with help from a dimension called the Reikai. There were only three
Light Keepers so far: Kiyoshi, Ki, and Adon…
The Hikarimori seemed more familiar than just characters from long-forgotten
memories. Suddenly she snapped out of her reverie as realization set in.
Kiyoshi looked like Kuwabara, Ki like Hiei and Adon well… Adon looked like
Yusuke… but how could this be? A coincidence? Yusuke didn't act anything like
Adon at all, in fact none of the Hikarimori had been anything like the guys
that Keiko knew…
Kuwabara was too exaggerated in his acts; Kiyoshi had had a gentle, loving
personality. Hiei was too cold and silent to be Ki because Ki had had a warm,
talkative nature. And Adon-- well, Keiko knew for sure that Yusuke was not
like Adon at all. Maybe it was only the facial features… Adon looked
remarkably like Yusuke; their height and hair were the only different
physical features of the two. Adon had been taller and his longer hair had
been tied back. Yusuke was shorter and had slick back hair.
Adon had been the love of Kora's life. He'd been chivalrous, honest, strong,
had a strong will and heart, a great sense of justice, and had been the
self-appointed protector of the innocent. Keiko could never be sure about
Yusuke's honesty…
Keiko didn't know half the time whether Yusuke were saying the truth or not
about his missions. She knew in her heart that she'd always love Yusuke, but
now there was another man in her heart. Keiko wasn't sure what to do. Kora
never knew how Adon died, maybe he was also reborn again…but if fate should
decide, she'd meet the reincarnation of Adon again and figure out where to go
from there… [3]
All was well; Endymion and Serenity fell in love while Kora fell for Adon. He
was also the same age as Kora, one of the youngest men to ever become a royal
guard and a Hikarimori. Their relationship progressed when Kora went to Earth
as training to help regulate and negotiate with Makai.
When Kora was eighteen, however, communication between earth and the moon was
abruptly cut off. At least Reikai somehow managed to keep the Makai from
getting control.
For several months the moon had heard a rumor going around the Silver
Millenium about something evil going on earth. Relations between the moon and
earth started to grow cold and intercourse less frequent. Some people began
to regard Kora with suspicion and Endymion didn't come to the moon as often.
Still, Serenity faced this obstacle with optimism, saying that she would
marry Endymion someday.
Having lived in peace for such a long time, the Silver Millennium didn't know
how to react to this new rumor. It was shocking when contact with the outer
planets was abruptly cut off from the moon.
Kora had stood firm in staying on the moon, when Endymion and Adon asked her
to go back to earth with them. She ignored the people's suspicions towards
her, deciding to stay at the moon to protect the heart of the Silver
Millennium. Endymion had to go back to Earth to check on their royal parents
and see if the armies of earth were strong enough to withstand this strange
evil.
When the Dark Kingdom attacked by surprise, the Moon Kingdom was having
Serenity's 18th birthday ball. The citizens of the moon steeled themselves
when Luna and Artemis came running in crying, "We're under attack!"
Keiko had remember seeing her brother with his mask… she knew later, that her
brother must have came back to the moon specifically for Serenity's birthday.
He must have didn't know that the Dark Kingdom forces had followed him there…
Serenity was escorted to her rooms. Kora, with the Inners, wonder for a
moment whether... Adon might be dead with her parents. But there was no time
to think. Kora transformed into her battle form [4] as the Dark Kingdom
minions attacked.
Being Sailor Gaea allowed her the power to touch one of the other senshi and
copy their powers for short periods of time. This made her one of the
strongest senshi, equaling Sailor Pluto, who had the power to stop time, and
Sailor Saturn, who had the power to destroy a planet. Yet even if they were
the strongest senshi, there was a drawback: if they were to use their powers
to the limit it would cost them their lives...
While all the other senshi were fighting vigilantly, still they fell one by
one and no matter how hard Gaea fought, it was only proven futile when one of
the stronger youmas cast a spell, sending a round orb towards her. Somehow
the black orb captured her and held her inside the ball. The ball immediately
started sucking her energy. It was a long painless process; it didn't help
when her plight any when Gaea started resisting.
After a long time of trapping and sucking the life energy from the earth
senshi in its orb, the youma let go of her. Gaea fell to the ground. Her eyes
watched as the youma who killed her ran away to attack another person; she
also saw Serenity with her brother being killed in the distance. Finally the
strain of keeping her eyes open failed her and Sailor Gaea closed her eyes
for one last time. Her last thoughts were of happy memories with Adon and of
a hope to peace soon.
Her memories fast-forwarded into this present life. Keiko saw herself as a
little girl in a car with 2 grownups and a boy who looked remarkably like
Endymion. Keiko realized with a shock that these people were her real family.
Her parents and brother! With another shock at that point, Keiko realized
that although these people had engendered her and the Yukimuras had raised
her, both were equally her parents.
With growing horror, Keiko saw the car plunge down a cliff and of herself
being flung outside the open car window. Then there was nothing until the
memory of herself waking up in a orphanage and crying out, "Who am I?!"
Thoughts filled with the pain and sadness of the memories of the past and
present made Keiko start weeping quiet tears.
Queen Selenity comforted Keiko as she said, "There, there, Kora. What's in
the past is done and over with, you must look towards hope for the future
instead. What you must know now is that my daughter and the Inner Senshi
defeated the Dark Kingdom a few years back. I have brought you back from your
slumber to tell you that a new dark force is going to attack and that the
senshi will need your help. I know it won't make up for the loss of your
parents but I have here someone that you would remember fondly. Terra…"
~ Earth, Tokyo- Hikawa Jinja
"Are you all right, Mamo-chan? You don't seem like yourself today. Is
something the matter?" Tsukino Usagi asked her boyfriend.
"I'm fine Usako… it's this dream I had yesterday. About a girl from the
Silver Millennium. Anoh…Usako, do you know if I had any other family when I
was Prince Endymion?"
Usagi didn't know.
Rei, sitting on Usagi's other side, spoke up, "Did this girl appear in a
senshi outfit, Mamoru-san? Because I just had a vision of another senshi
yesterday and was worried whether she might be connected with these new
attacks we're having. I was just about to mention it, but Mamoru-san beat me
to it. So, did she wear a senshi outfit, Mamoru-san?"
Mamoru shook his head.
"Has anyone else been having dreams of this person other then Rei-chan and
Mamoru-san?" said Tenoh Haruka from beside Kaioh Michiru.
The others nodded their heads as they thought more on it.
"We could ask Setsuna-mama. She'll probably know who this person is," said
Tomoe Hotaru quietly.
"Hota-chan, I don't think we could reach Setsuna now. Don't you remember? She
said that something had come up and that she'll see us in a while," stated
Michiru.
Hotaru nodded slowly when Michiru finished. They fell silence.
"Mina-san, we should all talk about our dreams, if we are all having dreams
of this girl," spoke up Mizuno Ami, looking up from her palmtop.
"Well, it's just a small thing. I dreamt of myself standing with my generals
and several men in the moon's throne room -- I knew it was the moon's throne
room because I saw Queen Serenity and I know that usually royalty greets
guests in the throne room. She was with Luna's human form and a man that I
somehow knew was Artemis here. I also saw another woman there but I didn't
know who she was. Then I saw you, Usako, standing with a girl about your age.
I didn't know who she was but she ran to me crying, "Oniisama!" I hugged her
and said something that I can't remember, but I distinctly recollect that I
called her Ra-chan and referred to her as my imooto."
"I dreamt of being outside and talking about my problems with this person,"
said Hotaru.
"My dreams are of gossiping with this senshi," said Aino Minako.
"I myself dreamt of being in the kitchen with this person," declare Kino
Makoto.
"We have dreams of practicing our instruments with this girl. She plays the
lyre," reply Haruka for herself and Michiru, who had turned to drawing on her
pad, listening with half an ear.
"I remember that I was debating in my dream with this girl in the library,"
spoke Ami.
"I think I have the clearest image among all of us, Mamo-chan. For in my
dream, somehow a lot of people including all the senshi are chasing this
person and me. We ran past Mama and Endymion with his generals and 3 other
people. I called her Kora," said Usagi when it was finally her turn.
"Mina-san, does this girl we're discussing look anything like this?" said
Michiru, waving for everyone's attention. "I was sketching an image of what
she looked like in my dreams." Holding up her sketchpad, she showed everyone
what she'd drawn. Everyone gasped when they saw the image. It was the girl
they were having dreams about.
After studying the drawing for awhile, Usagi finally said, "So if we have
such dreams of Kora, I don't think she is connected with the enemy. Why don't
we wait till Setsuna-san comes back? Then we can ask her about this."
~ Moon
When Queen Selenity finished saying that name, she beckoned forth a pretty
woman with brown hair and blue eyes. What made Keiko stare in shock was the
light blue earth sigil on her forehead… She instantly knew who this woman
was…
"Terra!" shouted Keiko when she saw the woman. Terra had been her advisor and
also one of her closest friends. Running forward, Keiko grabbed Terra in a
tight hug.
"Milady!" cried Terra. Terra's body quivered as she got over the reaction of
seeing her mistress alive before her eyes.
Suddenly Terra's body morphed into an alert-looking calico cat -- she still
had the power to change back into her human form, but in her natural form it
was easier to be picked up and cuddled. Terra was Princess Kora's Cat
Guardian. Unlike the other cat advisors, she had managed to survive the 1000
years on the moon keeping Queen Selenity's spirit company. However long it
might be, Terra would wait until her mistress came. It had been a terrible
time during the destruction of the moon kingdom. At least it was all over
now, and Terra could finally take care of her charge like the way it was
years ago.
She wondered how Luna and Artemis were. Terra had missed teasing Artemis with
Luna. How she missed talking to Luna, her closest friend besides Milady. She
had always suspected that Artemis had a thing for Luna but never got around
to saying it.
She wondered if Milady had found Tono-sama's reincarnation in this life.
Terra knew that her mistress wasn't Princess Kora anymore, rather a normal
girl named Yukimura Keiko. Yet no matter how many identities her Milady took,
she would still be as loyal and faithful to Milady.
Keiko pulled away from Terra after a long moment and set her on the ground.
Terra started to behave like a mother, inspecting Keiko with keen eyes. The
girl just looked back at her as if she had just found a long lost relative,
which was in fact the truth. Terra had just learned from Queen Selenity about
Keiko's plight this life. She knew the pain and grief going through Keiko
now. It was similar to what Princess Kora had known in *her* life; because of
being sent away at such a young age, Kora never really knew her parents even
before they died, as she had not gone back home when she was on Earth
negotiating with Makai. Terra knew that her charge had often felt alone and
unwanted until Tono-sama [5] came along and showed Kora what it was to love.
She hoped in her heart that Keiko would find Tono-sama in this lifetime, for
if this new foe were successfully vanquished, after a few more years a time
of sleep would descend on earth. Then a new peaceful time would come again,
one that would last far longer then the Silver Millennium. A time called
Crystal Tokyo, that was to be ruled by Princess Serenity on earth with Prince
Endymion. The senshi -- including Kora -- would be helping Serenity rule and
establish new life on the planets. There wouldn't be anytime anymore for
personal love relationships in the senshi, they would have to break off old
love relations. Terra knew that was to be the sacrifice among the Princess's
guard.
After a long period of waiting patiently, Queen Selenity coughed from behind
Keiko in order to make her presence known.
When Keiko turned back to the Queen, Selenity said, "Your time here on the
moon with me, learning about your past, has been long enough. I will have to
send you back to earth… for you have already spent a few weeks of earth time
on the moon here." Keiko wasn't at all surprised when she heard the amount of
time she spent on the moon, knowing from more moon studies that time was
different then on earth. Her adopted parents would probably be worried about
her and Yusuke probably would be frantic, but Keiko knew that she would have
to cut off ties and not interact with them as much now she knew her true
identity.
"Setsuna will be there to greet you when you return to earth. One more thing;
Serenity's name in this lifetime is Tsukino Usagi. She lives in another part
of Tokyo. Luna found her and three of the Inner Senshi, Artemis found Venus
and the Outers excluding Pluto were awakened when the others faced another
evil being called Pharaoh 90, after defeating the Dark Kingdom and another
evil force called the Black Moon. The senshi, except for Setsuna, won't
remember you, I'm afraid, for they have retained very little memories of the
Moon Kingdom. Sailor Pluto has, since the destruction of the Moon Kingdom,
been at the Time Gate guarding it from enemies who want to change the
structure of time -- whether for evil or good I don't know: you would have to
ask her about that. I'm sure you remember what you were taught about the Time
Gate."
Keiko nodded as she recited from memory a piece of knowledge from the Moon
Kingdom, "The Time Gate is a portal to anywhere in time. Only Sailor Pluto
can guard the Time Gate. Time is very sensitive and you can't mess with it or
do anything dramatic that would seriously change the Time Line, otherwise it
would cause consequences that you would have to face."
Selenity smiled and said, ""Correct, Kora, you do remember your lessons from
the Moon Kingdom. Serenity and the senshi have been having peace, but a new
enemy has awakened from the remains of the hatred of all the enemies Serenity
has battled. When Luna first found her, she didn't realize that Usagi was my
daughter-Princess Serenity. By mistake, she made Usagi into a senshi-Sailor
Moon. However one time when trying to find the pieces of the broken
Ginzuishou, the Inners and Luna found out who was the reincarnation of
Serenity."
Keiko looked confused as she replied, "But Selenity-sama, there was never a
senshi of the moon before. Why is there one now? There has never been a need
for one; we were always there to protect the Princess of the moon."
"That is Luna's fault, Kora. She didn't realize that Usagi was Princess
Serenity so there was a mishap. You do recall all the times you got into
trouble with my daughter?" Queen Selenity asked as Keiko nodded.
Seeing her response, Selenity said, "Her present reincarnation seems to have
developed a few bad habits. She'll grow out of it when she's older. Please
have patience with her; in spite of all her faults, as on the moon she makes
it up with her big, warm loving heart…"
Keiko asks, "Does that mean Rei-chan's still clashing with her?"
"It's ten times worse now, according to Setsuna," replied Queen Selenity with
a twinkle in her eyes.
Keiko grinned as she felt different, changed somehow.
"Now that you have a basic understanding of Serenity's present status, I'll
continue as there is more information you must know: Serenity has discovered
that she has a daughter, also named Serenity, who comes from the future with
Pluto and her future self's permission to train. The child's father is your
brother Endymion."
Keiko looked surprised when she heard this fact but kept on grinning as she
remembered how much in love her brother and Serenity had been during the Moon
Kingdom.
"Serenity and Endymion have been reunited. His present self is a man called
Chiba Mamoru. You both share the same parents, as in your last lives,
although you were more fortunate then your brother: he grew up in an
orphanage rather than being adopted like you. Also like you, Mamoru had
amnesia so he doesn't remember the fact that he has a sister. Mamoru,
however, using the pain and desperation of discovering his own past, is, like
my daughter, also a protector of Tokyo- Serenity now has three identities:
her regular one, her princess self, and her senshi form, Sailor Moon."
Selenity stopped as she waited for Kora to absorb the facts. When she saw
that Kora understood that fact, Selenity went on talking of the present life
of her daughter.
"Kora, you do remember how to transform and use your powers? Pluto will have
to explain your presence in the senshi's lives now. As I said, the senshi,
your brother, and the cat advisors have so little memory of the Moon Kingdom
except that of the last battle, that they don't even remember your existence
in their life on the Moon Kingdom; everyone believes that Mamoru, your
brother, is the Guardian of Earth, despite knowing the law that a senshi must
be a daughter of the royal family. The reason I've summoned you here is to
tell you that there is a new enemy, one stronger then all evils that the
senshi had faced. They call themselves the Tele-Screens and are under an
unknown man's command. The man they are under, they refer to as Master. A
Tele-Screen's job is suck a person's energy and remove their Heart Crystal,
the senshi will need your help on vanquishing these foes."
Selenity then said, "One last thing before you leave; when you return to
Earth and see my daughter, please give her this brooch. It will summon her
new power, even stronger than her present power as Eternal Sailor Moon,
although that is what she will still be called. She will have to cry out
'Infinite Moon Power Make-Up!' if she wants to transform. Tell her that I'll
always be with her, that I love her…and I hope that she will find peace on
earth."
Keiko nodded seriously as she took the golden-silver moon brooch [6]. Queen
Selenity smiled as she bade her farewell, fading off and leaving Keiko alone.
The new senshi of earth then walked towards the portal that was to take her
back to Earth, where she would see all the senshi, her brother and Yusuke
once more…
~ Earth, a park in Tokyo
It was nighttime. A lone woman dressed in a lavender miniskirt suit waited
patiently near the park from which Keiko had disappeared.
Meioh Setsuna checked her watch as she looked toward the lake. She smiled a
small smile when a light from the moon shone down in front of her. Setsuna
waited as a figure materialized holding a cat. She waited silently until
Yukimura Keiko acknowledged her present; then she greeted the senshi of earth
cordially.
Rubbing her hands across her eyes, Keiko noticed that her clothes had
reverted back to normal. Looking around, she saw a familiar figure several
steps away. She grinned and asked, "How have you been, Setsuna? Where are the
others?"
"Why, they are sleeping, Kora-chan -- or is it Yukimura Keiko now?"
"Keiko is my identity now, Setsuna, but friends call me Keiko-chan. How much
time has passed on earth since Serenity-sama summoned me?"
Setsuna nodded, saying, "It has been one earth month. Knowing about the
situation you had with your adopted parents, I can understand that you might
not want to live with them. I could take you in to live with Hotaru-chan,
Haruka, Michiru and myself. The other outers and I live in a mansion and
there is space…" [7]
Keiko nodded as she replied, "I would be so grateful, Setsuna. Arigato
gozaimasu."
"There's no need to say thanks when we are like family. Mamoru-sama will be
ecstatic when he knows that he has a sister. The same holds true for
Usagi-sama," answered Setsuna, as she motioned to Keiko to follow her to her
parked car.
When they reached there, Keiko got into the car with a silent Terra. Setsuna
got in and turned to Keiko to say, "When we get back to the house in which I
am living with the other Outer Senshi, I'll call a meeting of the senshi
since this is the weekend and there is no school."
Keiko nodded and said, "That would be fine, but still…about the enemy, how
will I know when there is a battle to be fought?"
Setsuna chuckled and responded, "Don't worry, Keiko-chan. We will give you a
communicator for contacting the senshi when there is a battle to be fought."
Keiko nodded as she sat quietly with Terra while Setsuna drove.
End Chapter 1
1-All the senshi save for Usagi, Mamoru and Keiko had their present names.
2-Luna, Artemis and Terra have the power to convert into their human alter
egos.
3- I'll mention about the other YYH characters including Kurama later in the
story …
4- Having been living in peace for such a long time, there was no need for
the princesses to stay in their senshi form. So what I mean by battle form is
when they are in their Sailor Suits for all of you that didn't understand
what I meant.
5-Terra refers to Adon as Tono-sama.
6-Sorta like a Revised Version of her Eternal Locket.
7-I'm assuming the Outers are rich, since they had their own apartment
building in the manga. In my story, they have a mansion to better suit my
story.
