Why the /\ marks? You could easily show thought without them. In fact,
later you don't.

Meaning he's already decided what to do. I haven't decided what I think
of that yet.
Sorry bout that. I meant it to indicate that he was about to deliver
some tough love. However, I changed my mind in the course of writing the
scene and forgot to get rid of that.

"Why?" It was her one question, the one asked by countless others
facing such traumas. Why her? Why did it have to be her?
Tramas, or trama? Plural or singular? Did you mean to say 'these sorts
of traumas', or 'this particular type of trauma'?
Hmmm..... Gotta clear that up. I meant such traumas that could
practically destroy one's life, like finding out that you had only a few
months to live.

prospect of his son giving birth.
Though I realize that Genma's favored role in fanfic is the devil's
advocate, I honestly think you have the roles reverse here. With Nodoka's
longstanding quest for a manly son, she ought to show more reluctance,
while Genma, because this is a way to salvage the marrage situation, would
be more likely the one to embrace the plan.
Maybe. However, it's Nodoka's quest for a manly son is partly what I
had in mind when having her play the devil's advocate there. As for Genma, I
didn't think he'd be too happy of Ranma having a baby.
Q What if the doctors find out about Ranma's curse?
A They won't.
Actually, that brings up another question. How's Ranma going to prevent
himself from turning into a male for 9 months?
I could use the old "pregnancy cancels the curse" thing, but I think
that's a fanfic cliche. (Gary, which number was that one again? ^_^)
Besides, some of the humor could come in with Ranma avoiding hot water for
the better part of a year.
Q Why are you ripping off Thy Outward Part?
A I'm not trying to rip off Richard Lawson's works. I enjoy his fics,
and while I'm hoping to attain his dramatic skill, I am *not* trying to rip
any of his works. (Yes, the thought that someone would think this actually
crossed my mind.)
I think Gary's response to the 'Spreading Wings' author summed it up best.
I really hope this doesn't become another 'fashion trend' on the ffml,
with people continually apologizing for plagerism before any accusation is
made. Though it does happen occasionally, it's not that often, and my own
fear is that if too many people start acting like it's commonplace, some
moron will start his own witch hunt.
Maybe. Thy Outward Part was an inspiration for this fic, the part
where Ranma gets pregnant, anyways, and the reactions thereto. I just
thought I'd cover my own ass there.

other little things.

The medical proceedures might be necessary since I'm surethere are a few
people acquainted with how such a thing is done, but why would you need
the detailed info on false id? Why not just have the obscure references
to Nabiki meeting with a few people and making some phone calls for a few
days, then say "I've done it."
I guess that would be best. After all, I need info on the
procedures, both medical and administrative, more than how to set up a new
identity.
What sorts of other little things do you need to know, anyway?
