Good, but Akane isn't a very good idea to use here. I do think that FF8 isn't
to compatible with Ranma, since in FF8, you're seriously trying to kill people,
and that other people are dying as well. Rurouni Kenshin on the other hand
would make a wonderful fusion with FF8, and you can reeaally change the
storyline from the game using RK characters. Well, all except the last boss of
the game, of course.

S'up,everyone! My name's Cosmic Knight,and I am thinking about writing
a Ranma/FFVIII crossover. Here's the gist of my story:
If you haven't played the game,this is a spoiler because it details
the game's many events,but with a twist - Akane Tendo ends up on the
doorstep of Balamb Garden with almost-total amnesia,remembering nothing
save her name and the fact that she's a martial artist. She finds the
two gunblade specialists(Seifer and Squall) fighting(remember the intro
movie with the two giving each other scars?),and she reacts as Squall
wounds Seifer,rushing in and kicking them down with her moves. Some SeeDs
arrive and take the three in. Akane is put in a dorm and she is questioned
by some of the staff. When Dr. Kadowaki decides that she has amnesia and
she should remain in Balamb Garden. Akane goes into the training center
and runs into a T-Rexaur - very nasty - and surprising defeats it.
When Quistis sees this,she asks Akane if she'd like to try out her skills
in a test,and she is put in the field exam,in Squad A,where she meets
Selphie and they become fast friends. The two meet Squall and Zell in
the Dollet Communication Tower and so on and so forth.

to Ranma,who is trying to find out who was responsible for getting rid
of Akane(maybe Cologne?) and wants to get revenge(finally fessing up to
his feelings for Akane) while Akane tries to help Squall open up.
