You really shouldn't scold Shunsuke. How would this fic be any different 
coming out on the day Japan was bombed? It wouldn't. Date isn't really 
relative. Alot of people lost people they loved ones to war. So maybe Kunou 
heard somewhere that today in America was Veteran's day and decided to just 
take the day to reflect. His father spent time in America, so perhaps he 
heard it from him. One never knows.

Remember, not all the world is the USA.  I can understand your intentions

writing this, but it ends up feeling like it's written by one of those
ugly-American tourists who travel to other countries and are shocked to find
out that people don't accept dollars in stores and usually don't even speak
English.
