Ummmmm.OK. This is different.  IMO you've already
gotten to the punch line though. I'd have to see what
comes next, if anything, to decide how well it works.

could tell was that she was on avery soft surface,
probably a bed. Strangely 
she wasn't worried.

This is Akane afterall. 

 By now Ranma was on his way and

she new he wouldn't stop 
till he found her.
     She heard a click as a door opened and 3 sets
of foot falls entered the 
room. One of her captores approched and sat down
behind her. He helped her 
to a sitting position, and starte to undo the gag
and blind fold. As the 
blind fold fell from her face she was greeted by the
sight of two very 
familar men at the foot of the bed. "Taro, Herb! Why
have you kiddnapped 
me!!?". Taro's eyes twinkled at this as his smirk
grew,

##Taro "twinkled"??? Now this is a side of him we
haven't seen before. 

 Herb chuckled and 

shook his head. "We didn't." he point behind her.
She turned to see the one 
who'd just untied her and gasped. "R...R...RANMA!"
The shock in her voice 
was evidant. The pigtailed martial artist turned
kiddnapper smile 
sheepishly, "Yeah...uh...Sorry about this!"

    This one came to me in momment of inspiration
and I just wanted C&C on 
the idea.
