Hi! I've finally written something since forever, and
this is the only fan-fic I've ever finished, though it has no
plot... =\ Anyway, it's from Saber Marionette J, and it has to do
with the phrase, "Do Marionettes Dream of Electric Sheep?" from
the first SMJ episode. Let me just warn you it is very, very,
short.

It's a cute story. Just to make sure, you do realize that the
phrase is taken from Dick's classic novel "Do Androids Dream of
Electric Sheep?" which should be required school reading, right?
And that you should watch "Blade Runner: the Director's Cut", the
movie based upon said novel?

I haven't seen the SMJ anime, but it was a nice little fic.

BTW, there's nothing wrong with short stories. "Magical Realism"
is a literary movement practically built upon the unique power a
well-constructed short story can muster. I suggest reading
"Requiem con Tostadas" by Mario Benedetti, although it might
be easier for you to find translations of Borges' "A Leopoldo
Lugones", an amazing work of one page which includes such
masterful prose as the following (degraded, of course, upon
translation):

So be it (I tell myself), but tomorrow I too will
have died and our times will blend together and the
chronology will be lost in a world of symbols and
in a way it will be fair to say that I have brought
you this book and that you have accepted it.
