Space it out, people. There's no reason for you to flood the FFML. It's
hard to face this fact, but your fic may be important to you, but it's not
so important to everyone else that they simply must have it all at once.
Most people won't find TIME to read something that large all at once, in
any case. So do yourself a favor and spread it out over a few days of light
posting.

I'm afraid I'll have to disagree with you here. If I really like a fic, I'll
want to read the whole thing at once. I'm too impatient to wait the whole
day (?) for the next part to come out. Granted it's annoying to get 10
chapters at once in seperate messages, especially when I don't like the fic,
but I personally think the annoyance is worth it for me. I will not
summarily erase a fic because I think it is too long (in fact, I rather like
long fics). I would rather the past chapters for a fic to be posted on a
webpage than to the FFML, so people who haven't seen the fic can easily get
it, but this isn't always possible.

(PLEASE don't let this degenerate into another "canon wars." I just wanted
to give the other side to The Eternal Lost Lurker's. While a response to my
message is welcome, don't let this go any more than, say, 3 responses in
total to this thread? Thanks for keeping spam off the list.)
