Hi

I was at Anime North last year and I had a lot of fun, of the two anmie
cons in Toronto last year it was the better of the two. I went to a number
of the panels and most were time well spent. For me what made the whole
for me last year was it location, right in downtown Toronto and in on
several different floors of a building that made it interesting to explore.
This year they are have it at a hotel and conference center in the
northern part of the city that is not easy to get to by the TTC, but if you
have a car it is right at the junction of highways 400 and 401. Once you
get to the con you are going to be stuck there, unlike last year when every
thing that you might want to see was a close 15 minute walk away including
China town. Now I will be going to the it this year but unlike last year
when I went every day of it, I will likely only go one of the days.

Is it worth driving five hours? It might be.

	Hi!

Guess this applies more to the Canadians out there than anyone
else... it's about the Anime North convention coming up in June. Having
never been to an Anime convention before (or anykind of con, actually)
thought I might check it out.
I was just wondering if anyone else had been in previous years,
what the thing was like, if it was worth the five hour drive and car
rental to actually go -- ie. is anyone else from the FFML going?
(There _is_ an interesting fanfiction contest going on, dunno if
there'll be any kind of panel, though.)

	Later!
