Details, details, details...

Who knows?  Maybe the creators of a given set of 
character thought:
Let's make these characters as real as possible.  But, 
we should also keep 
in mind that they _aren't_!  Since they are not real, 
and never will be 
despite the anguish of many fans, the more exacting 
details need not be 
included.

Actually, in at least some instances, that isn't true.
Specifically, I'm talking about Sailor Moon. Naoko 
Takeuchi chose the blood types of her senshi for a 
reason. Like the Astrological signs, some people blieve
that ones blood type lends them toward certain 
personality traits.

People with blood type A are supposed to be 
intellectual, cool, and calm under pressure. Ex: Ami and 
Setsuna.

Blood type B people are supposed to be passionate, full 
of life, and into extreams. Ex: Minako and Haruka.

People with AB blood are supposed to be unpredictable, 
volitile, and emotional. Ex: Rei and Hotaru.

Finally, O blood type people are supposed to have strong
spirits and a lot of faith. Ex: Makoto, Michiru, Usagi.

But, from what I can tell, Rh factor does not play into 
this...

Or maybe Takeuchi-sama just didn't bother with it...
