Though not being an exponent of the Dark-fic (I work in Forensic
Science
and I see enough Dark) still the suggestion above has merit,
particularly
as rape is not about sex at all but about the exercise of power by one
human over another. The point about "still a MAN in mind and spirit"
makes
very little difference to the excerise of rape.
##Good point. I'm sorry if I didn't make myself clear. I was also
talking about the exercise of power and it's effects. I am not an
expert in this field (I'm almost an environmental toxicologist. Ask me
something about pesitcides. Or GIS. ^_^) My thinking was (admitedly
off the top of my head. I should have done more research first) from
reading done LONG ago that rape done TO a man was more traumatic, esp.
with the treatment of the victim. (It being assumed, generally, that
men can't be raped (Untrue, I know.)) Further I was thinking that,
Ranma's usual "I'm a guy" thinking would make it even worse for him
(Plus a different twist) since he could NOT rationalize "This only
happened because I was a girl" I don't like dark myself. (In fact I
have been accused of writing so WAFFY that it causes tooth decay. ^_^)
In general all of the Ranma/rape fanfic that I have read have been
badly done. Overused plot, rotten dialogue, etc. But it should be
possible to use it as a workable plot device.
