The Old English weenie strikes again! Sorry, but when people use Kunou, I
feel they *really* should get in character more. Having a book on Old
English helps...

Kunou may be stupid in many areas, but he knows his own language like no
other.

having said all that, froody story :)

The Essay
A Ranma fanfic by Tracy Garnett AKA Crikit

"One down only twenty-four more to go. Let me see who's next. Oh wonderful
it's Mr. Kuno. Well this should be good for a few laughs."

The Meaning of Life by Tatewaki Kuno Age 17.

What is this wretched thing called life? Is it but something we live?
Surely it is for if it was not why would it be called life?

If it *were* not

Life, is but something all men and women must live.

no comma needed

It starts the minute
they are conceived and lasts, until their dying breath.
If only it were that
simple to explain how one lives their life.
The great barb once wrote:

bard

"All the worlds a stage, and all the men and women
merely players..." Is that true?
Are we but mer actors in a show put on by some

mere

cosmic-bein? If that is the

being

case, then my life is surely an entertaining show.

...must surely be... is more correct in old english style.

I have lived, all of 17 years.

unecessary comma

And in that time, I have witnessed and felt
more then most people do in a lifetime.
I have gone through the turmoil of
losing my mother, to the dark of rider know as death.

to *that* dark rider (not that this matters, as they were the same word in
old english, but I like the extra emphasis it gives.)

I have felt the loss that comes with the abandonment
of ones father. And I have watched my

'one' is incorrect here. Replace with 'my', as he is talking specifically
about his own father, and not an unspecified person's father. imho.

beloved sister go from sweet innocent girl to deranged psychopath.

Although it may appear that all of my relationships end in tragedy, it is
not true. Take for example the relationships that I have with my two
loves.
My heart does but gain speed at the sheer thought of the fair and lovely
Akane Tendo, and the mysterious and vi-vacuous Pig-tailed girl. The love

vivacious. vivacuous has quite a different meaning, implying either a
certain hair colour or a certain county. (^_^)

that I feel for these two maidens is greater then the
love that Anotony felt for Cleopatria, Othello for Desdemona,

Antony

and Romeo for his dear Juliet. If need be I would

...If needs be...

give my life to save those of my loves.
Their happiness, is my happiness, their pain, is my pain, and their love,
is my love.

first comma, and second and later 'is', are all unnecessary.

If it were not for that wretched sorcerer Saotome,
who at this very moment holds my two
beauties under a spell; they would surely

this should be a comma (I think)

confess their love for me, thus
completing this game that we doth play.

'do'. 'doth' would only be used in the second person, at least with regular
weak verbs, which I hope :) this is an example of.

What aspect of my life has made me what I am today?
Is it the tragedy? Or is
it the joy? Me thinks that both have

Methinks. One word.

leant to the forming of the person that

is me. The person known as The Blue Thunder of Furinkan High.

"Well now that was interesting.
Unfortunately though it was completely off
topic, and due to that I'm forced to give Mr. Kuno an F!"
