Well, it's been a long time coming, and now it's here.  The time has
come for me to say my goodbyes to this list.  On my way out, there are a
few things I'd like to say, so here goes.

Thanks to White Wolf for putting it all together.  No matter what alias
you may use, without you there'd be no mailing list, and though many of
us have come and gone, the fanfiction community has benefited
considerably from its existence.

That said... the list has grown dramatically, and with the influx of new
blood I find that most of the familiar faces are gone.  I and my work
are largely forgotten now; I haven't released a completed story in
nearly a year.  I think the list, and perhaps the fanfiction world has
passed me by.  If so, so be it.  I will be on my way, with only this
last message to mark my passing.

Thanks to those of you who have read and appreciated my work.  You know
who you are... you are too numerous to name here.  Jeanne, though, I
will name. No BGC writer could ask for a better critic, and the
improvements she brought out in my own work, well... they are beyond
description.  Nick, too.  My friend for so long, and still today, he
introduced me to fanfiction.  The memories I will cherish for the rest
of my life.

If any of you who read my writings are still around, don't worry.  I'm
not giving up the writing just yet... I simply won't be on the ML any
more.  If you want to be on my prereader list for "Cry of the Phoenix",
just let me know.  I'll post the prologue and chapter 1 to RAAC when
chapter 2 goes to my prereaders, chapter 2 when chapter 3 goes to
prereaders, and so on.

At any rate, I'll miss this... but I do need to move on.  There's really
not much of a place for me here anymore, and I will not hang around
beyond my time.  I'd just end up making myself bitter... and I won't
have that.

For any of you who might be curious about who this is expounding on "old
times", I've included a list of my work below.
