First of all, if you want people to read your fic, it helps to format
correctly. That means either spaces, indents, or both to divide
paragraphs, and dialog in "quote marks." You might study some of the
fics that get posted on the list to get an idea of the kind of
formatting that's considered proper, because doing it right will
increase the number of readers you'll get.

Anou...  Actually, those are quotation marks.  In French those are what are
used for quotes.  And ditto to using the -- to indicate paragraphs.  Although,
Gary, you are correct in saying that if he looked at the stories on the list
he would see that we use the English formatting, I understand that its also
kind of hard to break a life time habit of writing that way.
