Sorry bout this but I just had to get this out of my system. Why
does everyone end up writing about the same couple/s in fanfiction? I
mean, with El Hazard, it's usually Makoto/Ifurita, in Ranma, it's
Ranma/Ukyou, Ranma/Akane,Ranma/Kodachi, Ranma/Shampoo? I for one would
like to see more fics with unique couples in them, or rarely-done
couples. Some examples would be:

Ranma/Kima
Ranma/Akari
Makoto/ Anyone female from El Hazard except for Ifurita(Or maybe the TV
version Ifu)
Shinji/Anyone but Rei and Asuka.
Tenchi/Kiyone (well, I seem to have a fondness for this match-up)
Inu Yasha/Sango

Chibi-Usa/Fred -- "A Foolish Flirt"
Fred, of course, is the alt.fan.sailor.moon official name for Makoto's
sempai (Lita's old boyfriend, for the NA's).
This would have to be an older Chibi-usa, after the end of the official
story.

Minako/Artemis -- "Meeting Neko-sensei After Class"
Actually, this one has promise, if it were done right.  Not the after-class
part, though.  Please, no...

Ranma/Cologne -- "And the Thunder Rolled"
Never mind.

Gendo Ikari/Rei -- "Rei, the Fourth"
Well, why not?  Of course, it might be a little dark. :(

Daley/Sylia -- "I Just LOVE Your Shop!"
That would be a serious stretch, but I'd heap praises on any author who
could do it convincingly.

Zagato/Emeraud
Naaah.

Nuku-Nuku/Artemis -- "The Cat and the Fiddle"
A crossover.  One had the body of a cat and the brain of a man.  The other
had the brain of a cat and the body of a woman.  It was chaos at first
sight.

Yosho/Mihoshi  -- "Filling a Vacuum"
Not like that, you hentai!  The vacuum in reference is Mihoshi's head.  "He
closed his eyes and soon discovered that her mindless banter had a curiously
soothing effect."


Ah, I better stop.
