I feel it necessary to respond to the list, since the message being
responded to was posted to the list as well. It has been treated to
public view, therefore response will be in kind.

Razorclaw, I found it hard to understand this statement, until I
realized
your point of view was impaired.

  Assumptions, assumptions, assumptions....

If you remove your head from your ass,
you may find this fic as good as the rest of us did.

Forgive me for asking, but who is 'the rest of us' you mentioned? Are
you privy to the author's private e-mail, or are there hidden C&C
messages which I've yet to see?
And by what right do you feel it necessary to resort to such language
in a public (even if it is a private list, this is far from a private
message) forum?

beside how much the crossover doesn't seem to work (at least, not
for
me; the moment Urd popped up I refused to buy it), beside how
utterly

If I had used the ghosts, I felt it would have been even more of a
copy
rather than a slightly different twist, which was what I was going
for.

He complains that it's too much like the Dicken's tale, then it's not
enough like? This isn't C&C, this is vomitous spew.

By what assumption do you base this upon? I felt that bringing in
goddesses was a bit out of whack.
I'm sorry you had to take my words as flames. The author sure didn't
(and I respect him for such; it's an admirable virtue to withstand
criticism).

one-sided Nabiki was written (I think it's safe to say that we can
agree
that she ain't a cold-hearted bastard, dare I say SCROOGE, but
that's
the impression I got from this), beside....

Since being a cold hearted bastard and seeing the error of your ways is
the entire POINT of the story...

That might have been the point of the original Dickens story, but....
The impression I got was that the point of the story was to stick
Ranma characters in a situation not unlike the original Christmas Carol.
That was not far from the truth.

Not that I'd expect you to understand that.

Too many assumptions breeds conflict. I expect an apology in the
morning.

Sorry you had to suffer through that twit's vileness. I offer my
services
to use my clue-by-four on him.

Unlike the author, who took my criticisms in stride, you seem to have
some kind of problem. I can't think of any other respectable list
member, in recent memory, who resorted to your use of language and
behavior on this list.

As for you, Razorclaw, I find you utterly lacking in the christmas
spirit
and sentence you to suffer the visitations of ghosts three.

It is my duty as a reader to provide feedback to the author. Whether
it has something to do with Christmas or not is immaterial; what is,
however, is what is written, and how it was written. The fact that it is
the right time of year does not excuse what I perceive to be a flawed
story.

Grow up, moron.

I expect an apology in the morning. Public apology, I might add. Your
behavior in response to my perfectly-reasonable criticisms was uncalled
for, and downright rotten.
If you weren't the list owner, I might have asked Tybalt to temp-ban
you for your indecent public behavior. But, since you are, there's
really nothing I can do about it.

"Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! Fool! Pain is my friend. Allow me to introduce YOU to
it!" --Inferno, Beast Wars
"Decepticons FOREVER!!" --Ravage, former Decepticon
"Your persistence is futile! I rise again!" --Rampage
"[Rampage] may be ugly, but he's a PREDACON!" --Quickstrike

--Razorclaw X
