Arrgghh!
    I just realized that I did horrible disservice to somebody that has
helped me.  The Phoenix (Louis-Philippe Giroux) gave this Chapter the once
over for me before I sent
it to the FFML.  Mr. Giroux has written a great Ranma/Sailormoon crossover
that is very believable.  If you have not read Lines Of Destiny, than do it
now!  (now if only he would get off his lazy butt and write the second chapter
to his Ranma/WoT series...)

   Just because I'm not subscribed to the list doesn't mean I can't read
the archives, y'know...  :)

   And for what it's worth, I *am* working on DP2, as well as LoD 11.  Why
so long a delay?  The answer is pathetic, but true: schoolwork.  I never
imagined studying Computer Sciences would entail those freaking lab
projects they're making us do.  I actually started DP2 and LoD 11 a week
ago.  The last few months have not only been harrowing, but several times
when I *could* have written stuff, I had to leave for some godforsaken
interview somewhere for my internship in January.  The only consolation was
the T-1 I had access to by living on the campus.

   It doesn't help that an UTTERLY STUPID internal conflict at Sherbrooke
University resulted in the fact that I'll be having classes and/or exams
until Dec 23rd!  I had expected to finish before the 18th, so instead of
being able to put out the chapters by Christmas, I may have to push that
back to New Year's Day.  It shouldn't be any later, because I may not have
a Net connection for the first 2 weeks of January (I'm moving yet to
another city! - oh joy...)

   The only thing I'm having real trouble with is a scene in early DP2...
Logic says there must be a mob scene in Emond's Field, yet I can't figure
how to write one correctly (I keep trying to give everyone some "airtime",
but it just doesn't work)...  Anyway, very annoying.  As for LoD, I've got
an evil surprise in store for the storyline.  Only *one* person knows about
it and he summed the popular opinion quite well :  "You're gonna get flamed
for this." (Or something to that effect).

   And he's probably right.  Half the people will cheer me and half will
want to spit on me.  It's a very controversial idea and I've been wondering
a *long* time about whether I should do it or not.  What is it?  You'll
find out later.  (Yes, I'm a dirty rotten bastard, I freely admit it)  It's
NOT in chapter 11, though.  It has nothing to do with Katsunishiki's care
package - I can already tell you that.

   Oh well, it oughta be good for something.  I received over 1300 messages
of all kinds concerning LoD since its first chapter and only two of those
were flames (well, one of them was so badly written I couldn't make out the
message - maybe it wasn't even a flame, go figure.)

   In fact, I'll post a small teaser on LoD 11, coming up right after this.
Just to keep you guys on your toes.  Tell me if I went completely off the
deep end with the imagery in the second part.  I wrote that while listening
to OMG soundtracks, the slow, sad kind...
